 he's also saying since Gamboa walks around at 140, he'd be better off there to bypass rehydrating.
I guess we'll see Victor Ortiz at MiddleWeight after his next fight

Yes genius. For this particular fight the logic holds true. If you fail to see it then thats on you dumbass. It's a weight "CEILING" meaning you can come in at whatever weight as long as its under that ceiling. Now if 2 guys are roughly the same size does a weight ceiling actually give one fighter some sort of weight advantage?

Really I said that? Hmm...if you look up a couple posts before this one I actually said a weight limit against Pac and JMM is insignificant because they are essentially the same size. Now instead of making things up, go try and disprove that particular notion.

So do you think Marquez looked the same vs. Pacquiao than he did in his other fights? And if not, why? Was it simply a matter of not having to rehydrate anymore, or did he significantly change his body between the Katsidis and Pacquiao fights? Would he have undertaken such changes for a fight at 140 or 135 (the latter being Pacquiao's "true" class according to you)?

    Don't bother.

Read from page 5 on. Tell me if you give him the edge in any part of the debate.

This guy says a whole bunch of stuff and refuses to admit any faults despite even contradicting himself. He'll say something to you like: "I never said Pacquiao was a true lighweight."

Ortiz is better off at super middleweight, bro!

Ortiz weighed in fight night at 164 in his last fight... He'd be better off there being that he won't have to dehydrate!

    Right Paolo?

The point is that JMM could've come in at whatever weight he felt he'd be most effective without giving up some sort of weight advantage. They're both 5-6. They both have like 67 inch reach. They're separated by 3 pounds at fight night. How Marquez looked in prior fights really is irrelevant. What we're arguing here is whether a 144 catchweight was fair for both parties. I've explained as best as I could that it was. I used an example of a 300lb weight limit to show it's the under that counts...not the over yet some of you *****s still fail to see the logic. It should be as clear as day.

I'd say considering Marquez's weight and how he looked in prior fights is a fair bit more relevant for assessing the fairness of a catchweight than height and reach comparisons.

Dude you sure aint the sharpest nail in the toolshed. Hypothetically yes, if Ortiz can pull a Pac he can campaign at supermiddle if he wanted to. Weight ceiling dumbass understand the concept. Anyone can theoretically campaign at Super Middle...doesn't mean they'd be competitive. Reason and practicality usually governs such decisions...and if you're a singular talent like Pac it's reasonable and practical to campaign at higher weights when you can still beat people down who outweighs you by 15-20 lbs.

you didn't pwn anything. I used a guy that was actually in the ring with Pacquiao to say his punches make you bruise easily and Pac didn't hit him much, but made him swell easy.
Now of course pacquiao landed some shots. It's a 12 round fight, but that doesn't mean he landed more clean shots than Juan based on that
I don't feed trolls like you :hi:

It seems to me you're holding it against Pac that he's had success at Welter. Well don't....PAC campaigns at welter, it don't mean he the same size as a welter. They're the same size and there's no issue of one guy trying to get some sort of weight advantage. JMM could've come in at whatever weight he wanted under 144 and he would still be roughly the same size as Pac. Personally I think he came in bigger to better absorb Pac's punches. This really is a non-issue. But there is a lot of bitter butt-hurt Pac-haters out there that actually think Pac was bloating up JMM. With ***** logic, anything seems possible. Seriously, at the end of the day the fight prolly wasn't fought at 140 for something as simple as Pac not wanting to miss a meal.

no. Read what Mosley said over and over until you get it. Plus Pac did land some shots flush, but there wasn't many

I never recalled Mosley having been marked up in most of hgis fights.

In the Gayweathyer fight, you would never even think he got into a 12 round fight with the PFP number 2.

*****s are takingRunner Mostly toooooo much seriously!!!! It is just his defense for running. What else would he say if he ran almost the entire fight? I am sure that *****s would expect Runner Mostly to say "he punches like a girl" which would make Runner Mostly stupid for running.

As usual, dumb Bballchump is an idiot for using he Runner Mostly to back up his outlandish and stupid thread. BTW, he got knocked down in the Pac fight in case *****s are in denial state.

    Dumbass will always be dumbass.

Pac won for throwing and connecting more on a round per round basis without resorting to compubox!

Their faces just showed that Pac "touch" JMM and counters you crying bitches argument that Pac never "touched" JMM.

It must probably be Pac's fault - singing "sometimes when we touch" was taken too literally by the bunch of dumbest ever posters, the *****s. He should have sang "So many times when we touch".

I thought you are an attorney?

I really doubt it. You cannot spell, your grammar is cringeworthy.

Do you put that kind of silly argument everytime you debate? Your IQ must be 20. You can not even differentiate "their" from "there"!!!Do you also say "Your honor, my caps lock is stuck."

    So shut the **** up!!!!

Who said their faces matter? Fights are scored on a round per round basis. Dumbass!!!!!

    And putting emoticons has reason!!!!
