Marquez, face to face with PAC asking for a rematch!

The fist fight was a completly bogus decision. PAC won but JMM was given the draw to retain titles that no longer belonged to him.

He then avoided a rematch for years! When they finally did rematch JMM as usual presented a tough challenge but yet again fell short to the better fighter.....Maybe not to a better boxer but JMM lost to the better fighter TWICE!.

So while JMM is still a MAJOR threat PAC has run through him and his comrades from Mexico. Unfinished business?? Only for JMM b/c it's hard to loose twice to a guy who already dented his national pride by KOing both of his peers who are also TERRIFIC boxers.

 

Of course JMM was being drug through the mud when he wouldn't accept an immediate rematch! It was a BOGUS decision. The man who should have got the nod was PAC! And it was a FACT that the only reason why JMM kept his titles was due to a technicality with an imcompetent judge who scored the 1st round 10-7!

As a champion getting a win like that doesn't fulfill you! And instead of taking the rematch he ran bc he knew PAC was the real deal. If PAC had of won...I Gurantee you that PAC would have stepped up to rematch right away so he could clear up the contreversy. JMM RAN! And that was not acceptable.

The reason why PAC isn't getting torn up for not taking a rematch is b/c HE WON! Clearly in a close competitive fight. Everyone knows PAC should have won the 1st fight so in reality it's 2-0.....But on paper it's 1-0-1 for PAC.

The rematch will happen but PAC has been there and done that already. He has his legacy that he is concerned with. Stepping up to a new weight class and grabbing anther belt is huge in boxing and will do a lot for his legacy.

What in the hell would a 3rd fight do for PAC with a guy he's already beaten twice? Makes no sense for his legacy. I will say its probably the most attractive in terms of money right now but PAC doesn't exactly need the money at this point. He is focusing on his legacy.

JMM is pushing this rematch so bad b/c he DOES need the money. And JMM is always a threat. He's a great fighter that presents proably the biggest rish to PAC at 130 or 135. So PAC has legitimate reasons for not taking an immediate rematch...down the line the rematch would be even bigger if PAC and JMM can remain on a winning streak.

PAC isn't running scared bro...what is running scared is what JMM did 4 yrs ago after knowingly recving a gift draw!

scared, eh?? let jmm wait a while. pac waited for 4 years for the rematch after jmm ducked him for the immediate one. but i'm sure pac won't let jmm wait for 4 years like him.

legacy-wise, an immediate third fight w/ jmm won't do much for pac and even jmm for that matter. pac already has a draw and a win against him. even if jmm manages to win the 3rd fight @135, they will sport identical 1-1-1 records against each other which just confirms that they are very evenly matched and we all already know that.

that's why pac fighting other champs @135, will gain him more legacy-wise since he could become a 5-weight champ and maybe even a 4-division lineal champ.

jmm should also fight other champs @130 or 135 while waiting for the 3rd fight to enhance his record and legacy. he's currently just a 2-weight champ compared to pac being currently a 4-weight and 3-division lineal champ. the prob w/ jmm is that he seems "afraid" to fight other champs since a loss will possibly lose him a ticket to a third big money fight w/ pac. however, if both pac and jmm have belts @135, that could make their 3rd meeting a unification fight and this will become a very important fight legacy-wise not just money-wise for both of them.
