    WTF is this **** Likar Ramos?:huh I mean you would think Manny would fight a fighter who is better deserving of a shot, not someone who rematched a guy he already beat, then beat Katsidis and now fighting this ****ing joker...

    If this is supposed to be a "tune up," Marquez is gonna get stomped in November. 2 fights in 4 months, the latter against the king of boxing today...must be out of his damn mind. Don't see him being ready for Pac, especially given that he probably doesn't have much time left.

    I guess so, its a quick easy fight so he can move on to the Pac trilogy.

    Should he take unnecessary damage against Ramos and lose his Pacquiao bout badly, people will look back on this and give JMM the benefit of the doubt, saying "Oh well he fought 4 months before and he might have been hurt."


    I respect JMM's skill and heart, but this is just dumb.

    You guys are ridiculous

    Manny has refused to rematch Marquez anywhere near a weight he could lose at for years.

    The guys 38, and moving up to a weight he has no chance at, to effectively give Manny a cheap win over him

    You should respect his courage, and give him a big thank you

    No way Manny would have beat Marquez, if he'd rematched him anywhere near the second fight

    WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez (52-5-1, 38 KOs) of Mexico will defend his belts against former WBA interim super featherweight champion Likar Ramos (24-3, 18 KOs) of Colombia. The bout will take place July 16th in Cancun, Mexico with Zanfer Promotions promoting the event.

    I dont mind him taking a tune up before fighting Pac. If he feels he needs to let him, as long as he gets in the ring with Pac in November I dont care. Also people are talking like your man Ramos is an absolute ****in bum when clearly he is not.

    This shows how much of a joke the Pacquiao vs JMM fight is. Arum greedy ass signed Marquez 4 days after the Mosley fight thinking about cashing in on the money. He never went to Floyd for a fight because they want to milk this cow anyway possible. Fools keep buying this **** so he keeps making this ****.

    **** Arum and team Pacquiao they are ruining the sport!
