This **** better happen at 140 if it's happenin at all. And given the style matchup it might be boring. I ain't sure the PPV would do so well anyway.

Im a huge Mayweather fan, realistically speaking I don't think there is anyway Floyd kos Marquez in less than 4. If there is a KO by Floyd, it will be in the later rounds. Marquez is too skilled. If Judah survived Floyd, Marquez would give him a run for his money @ below 145#s. Marquez has a better chin than most.

The Floyd fanboys seem to think that this matchup is a mismatch......yet they dont want and are not pushing for Mayweather to drop to 140 lbs.....

If the fight is such a mismatch, why not have Mayweather drop to 140 lbs?

I dont think JMM should take the fight if its at 145 lbs.......thats only a 2 lbs drop for Mayweather, but a
10 lbs hike for JMM.....does'nt seem at all fair especially realizing how so many view the matchup as a mismatch.

I'll tell you something right now.....the Mayweather fanboys are getting nervous......they want this fight at the highest weight possible.......if the fight is at 140 lbs, start getting out the Pepto Bismol, because these Mayweather fanboys are going to need it.:yep

For fairness sake, I wish the two camps would just split their weight difference down the middle......Mayweather drops 6 pounds and Marquez goes up 6 pounds.....the end result is a meeting at 141 lbs.

If it happens, is JMM the most "complete" fighter PBF has ever fought?

same goes for you, you want this fight to go as low as possible as 135 so floyd would be a walking corpse in the ring and your boyfriend marquez will have all the advantages in the fight:hi: 145 is already closed to 141..so its only fair considering floyd came out of retirement and hasn't fought at a weight lower than 147 since the early part of this decade:deal

I think it would be a great fight but according to boxing news magazine Marquez is considering a fight ith Erik Morrales, as he doesn't want to fight above 140.

what will marquez gain if he beats morales? many ppl here are questioning pac's wins in the second and third morales fights in 2006 calling morales already way past his prime or shot at that time. now, jmm is supposed to fight him 3 years later?!

the best thing for jmm to do is to accept this mayweather fight at 145. jmm says he wants to get the big fights with the best fighters. this is his best opportunity to make a great name for himself w/o always chasing for another pac fight. if he wins, jmm is certainly #1 p4p and pac may end up doing the chasing this time. for jmm, nothing gets bigger or better than this, money and legacy-wise.

Marquez should take the fight at 145.

I think Marquez has already done that. Marquez is now trying to build his legacy to match the likes of pac, morales, and mab. Marquez should wait if pbf doesn't want to come down to 141. Hatton is likely to beat pac, so jmm has a superfight waiting for him this fall.

no. i still think jmm's legacy is still tied up in a 3rd pac fight. this is his biggest opportunity to take an alternative path to greatness. just think what a win vs. floyd will gain for jmm.

at 141, questions of floyd being weight-drained will possibly diminish jmm's accomplishment if he manages to beat floyd. take the fight @145 and finally become a true ATG of this sport. a victory vs. floyd is much bigger than a victory against either pac or hatton as floyd already beat hatton. i guarantee you that if jmm manages to beat pbf, it will be both pac and hatton chasing him for a fight this time. jmm will never have to chase anybody again. big-named fighters will keep calling him out and lining up to fight him instead.
