when an old, shop worn 39 year old, former **** drinking, rock chucking warrior, who has been in countless gut checking wars... suddenly appears overnight looking like a BEAST and has aquired ONE PUNCH KO POWER along with his immaculate timing and accuracy....You just know something is up. Just like you know how a little man like Pacquiao can suddenly jump so many divisions and start bullying bonafide welters like margarito and cotto. The way I see it, Pacquiao deserved that and Marquez deserved his win. You can't take nothing away from him. If he was playing dirty, he just leveled the playing field for what he had faced before in the form of judges and possibly juicing pacquiao. Can't wait for all those threads comparing head sizes of Marquez now....
im amazed people think that a man with 40 ko's in 53? fights can't punch  and watch the punch and watch when it lands, pac head butted his fist, twice the impact twice the power. and if i go on the weights for a few weeks my shoulders and arms look bigger, maybe he is maybe he aint, but he had always been able to punch :deal
:good Marquez has some brutal knockouts on his highlight reel. Just because he is such a fantastic boxer doesnt mean he can't crack when he sits down on his punches, which he was doing all fight. Too many people think PEDs perform miracles & can completely transform a fighter
Juiced or not Marquez was getting pretty much worked over before Pac got sloppy, jumped in and walked straight onto a peach, **** happens.
Marquez did that with training and hard work. He has always been a consumate pro and after the same issues were raised about his s&c coach he said I'll take any and all tests you want. Marquez done the exact same thing against Juan Diaz where his opponent see's blood and goes all out attacking and if theres ever gonna be someone you shouldnt do that against surely its one of the best the best counterpunchers in the sport. I have always rated JMM and he clearly went into this fight to use timing and power rather than all his usuall flashy combo's, and who can blame him after the previous 3 results
I think allegations about Marquez are disgraceful. This an has never failed any of the strongest tests undertaken including blood tests. He never cried that the was afraid of needles like another fighter. Pacmangot nailed clean. Live with it.
If Marquez was cheating, it wasn't the PEDs that won him this fight, it was a change of approach. Wasn't really working for the first five and a half rounds, but it did in the end. It was as if he knew he wasn't getting a decision and decided it was worth losing wide or even being stopped himself, to try and score the KO.
His S+C coach is on record saying all tests are bull**** and he knows how to beat them easily. Simply associating yourself with someone like that opens you up to allegations and questions and given the mans record and previous statements, its justified.
I think they all know that, in fairness. What's most ridiculous is that USADA are in the pockets of promoters, basically allowing cheating to go on, by agreeing what is and isn't going to be tested for on an ''each case to it's own merits'' basis. Schaefer's attempt at smearing VADA says it all.
