It's highly possible that he will fight Ricky Hatton in Manchester.

He should go after Bradley. JMM has said that he wishes to become the first Mexican fighter to achieve titles in 4 weight classes and is typically game to fight anyone. Bradley is the best titlist at 140 and after just fighting arguably the best 147 lb fighter, a match against the best 140 lb fighter seems logical for Marquez.

Yeah i heard about the apparant Hatton-Marquez match-up in Manchester next year.. could be that. Although i think a Marquez/Bradley match-up would be better for boxing. Real test for Bradley and like you said Beenie.. with the WBC/WBO on the line could be a massive night for Marquez. Do you think he would bring in more cash fighting hatton though?

Schaeffer said he'll return on May 1st, they're looking for an opponent.

If you want him retired, you'd push that fight. Bradley would murder him. Look what Juan Diaz was able to do through the first four rounds or so of their fight this past February. Bradley would not relent and has better physical attributes than Diaz regardless. Marquez is a great champion, but he's past his prime by a decent margin now.

Of course and because of that reason Hatton-JMM has a much better chance of actually happening. They also are both promoted by GB so the fight would be easier to put together than one between JMM and Bradley.

JMM has however made it clear that he covets winning a title in his 4th division which is a proposition that Hatton cannot offer.

Bradley's too dangerous and not as lucrative as Khan. He should go after Khan, he deserves the pay day and if he's still got it, then go after Bradley.

You need not try and convince me of JMM's chances, or lack there of, against Bradley.

I too think that Bradley would probably maul him.

Bradley is however the best JWW and as the best LW it seems like a somewhat logical matchup.

And considering that JMM just faced who many to consider as the best WW in Mayweather, not to mention that he's typically game to take on all comers, it's a matchup that has a legitimate possibility of happening.
