i think pac is beyond marquez 140 and above, i think marquez vs pac a 135 would be awesome, but i imagine pac cant or more likely wont make 135.. marquez the best mexican for me, a pleasure to be part of the generation that got to see him fight

I think a 140lbs championship could/would put him on par with both MAB & Morales.

IMO, The way it should be... all 3 are ATG's.
(The Pac fight's he already has under his belt are enough...)

JMM is an ATG. Hes had some very favorable matchups in the last two years and that has increased his legacy. But he was nowhere to be found in the MAB, Erik era. That said he isnt far behind and beating Pacquaio will elevate him ahead.

Lets not forget that a past prime MAB gave him a good scrap. But his longevity and conditioning is amazing.

As a non-Mexican and many will disagree I believe Marquez is perhaps the best all around Mexican fighter when it comes to all around skills and desire inside that ring. Much respect and one of my favorite fighters to watch at any time.

he was always there to be found. fighters just chose to look the other way. steward admitted having advised hammed not to take on jmm. im sure he was not the only one who saw who jmm was.

I think JMM is the better fighter than both MAB and EM but he does not get the credit he deserves because he did not have the trilogy they had against each other. I think both EM and MAB were wise to avoid JMM early on in their careers. last night was one of the best displays of boxing I have ever seen.
