All rubbish. Sorry dude, but it is.

The fight was scheduled at 147. With an addition that they should pay fines above 144, but the fight was still on. If they weighed over 147 the fight would not have moved ahead.

Secondly, Marquez did anything but hold his own. He was exposed. That is just a fan. A Mexican showing that he can cut it against fellow latinos, but at the real world level he comes up very short. The reason why he even has a name is that few Americans/Europeans even grow as small as this.

I said outclassed? Anyway, it was sad to see that those flush right hands seemed to have no effect at all on Floyd.

you talk about Floyd solving the weight problem with giving a little dough to Marquez....

I have a great statement for you told to me by a relative who is a Police Officer:

"Who's Morality is more in questioned....The guy who gives the BRIBE, or the guy who takes it????"

Are you serious? Marquez is 36 years of age, and fighting above 135lbs for the first time in his career against someone who has fought as high as 154lbs before, and because he came up short - he was exposed? Everyone expected this to be a mismatch. Floyd didn't even make the agreed weight limit, which is still absolutely disgraceful. He couldn't even address this during the post fight interview.

The reality is, Mayweather Jr is a hell of a fighter, but he knew what he had gotten himself into when he signed to fight Marquez. Way too big. Marquez was struggling with B level fighters at 135lbs, and he was expected to go all the way up to 144lbs, essentially Welterweight, and fight the best there? Come on now. If Juan Manuel Lopez moved all the way up to Super Featherweight and was knocked out by Humberto Soto or Edwin Valero - would that be exposed?

I can't actually believe Juan Manuel Marquez lasted the full 12 rounds. I think of what Trinidad, Leonard, Hearns, and all the other truly great Welterweights of yesteryear would have done to Juan, and no way does he last past 3-4 rounds with any of them. Floyd didn't even coast, he tried for the knockout in the 11th round and just couldn't get it. That's a testament to the heart of Marquez. Exceptional fighter.

Marquez is a blown up Featherweight and 36 years of age. Let's not blow this victory out of proportion like the terrible commentary team for Sky Sports.
