Must be tough for some Floyd fans to strike that balance between saying that Floyd would win easily against Marquez and denying that the fight is a mismatch.

If he's concentrating on FMJ injury to take advantage, JMM is baiting for the trap. Considering that the injury was probably fake.

true but it wont hurt him to test that ribs to see if it's fully healed or if it was a fake cuz money mayweather couldn't sell tickets so a fake injury had to happen:lol::lol:

I will be rooting for JMM, but I think that his strategy of being more aggressive would give FMJ an opening for a quick counter, resulting in multiple flash KDs.

We've seen JMM get caught by counters and KD many times now.

Marquez's forte is counterpunching and smart, patient boxing, but I think he wont beat Floyd doing that.

And Floyd's quicker footwork, quicker hands,, better defense, and natural size advantage
    stacks the odds against JMM.

    So aggressive boxing it is.

:lol:JMM is not going to turn into Joe Frazier.....but mark my words, he's going to focus early on at Mayweather's midsection( it does'nt mean he's going to neglect his boxing).....

.....but when Mayweather leans to rest on the ropes, Marquez is not going to make the mistake that DLH made and aim at the head.....Mayweather's head is always moving and rolling and tucked underneath the shoulder roll......

.....the focus to the body is going to bring Mayweather's hands down and make him bend at the waist.....look for a healthy dose of uppercuts once Mayweather starts bending at the waist.....

.....hey, Mayweather is a great fighter, and he's going to be getting his licks in as well.......

.....but I've got to say, if I was a Mayweather fan, I'd be worried if JMM looks to be carrying his weight well at the weigh-in......
......how will Mayweather's defense hold under the varied repertoire that Marquez brings to the table?????

The thing with Mayweather in just about all of his fights, especially of late.....he's faced the type of fighter where he focuses on one particular thing because their repertoire are not as varied as Marquez'......

.......with Marquez, Mayweather is going to have more to worry about as far as focusing at incoming.....Marquez is just as good with either hand and he throws his shots from different and varied angles.....

I've said all along, Mayweather should be the favorite, but in JMM, Mayweather has things to worry about that he has'nt been forced to see in the past......JMM's repertoire is like no other that Mayweather has ever faced......just ask Manny Pacquiao......

Beware because JMM can and may very well shock the world.

Mayweather didn't need to fake an injury to sell tickets and make $350k PPV buys fighting Baldomir, what makes anyone think this is the case here?

It's clearly a rumor and the one who started it knew everyone will jump on it since anything negative regarding Mayweather is very easy to attract the boxing public. Find ONE reliable/good enough source that confirms this with logical proof.

Even if PBF isn't telling porkies, it's unlikely he would have revealed the real source of the injury, as that represents a weakness. So Marquez doesn't really have anything on Floyd by targeting "where he's hurt".

Please remind me of how many fighters that announced they got injured came out with real sources?, they give the real sources to people that matter. Fans and failied journalists are wide open to start rumors and chew on it till the fight returns. This isn't UFC or a circus show, it's a global event.

If poor sales was the reason then they would have stopped many other events in similar fashion, fans just love to start bullcrap rumors whenever a fight is postponed. Tyson was labeled scared SHITLESS when he postponed his fight with Holyfield because of an obvious cut, Foreman was called scared when postponed against Ali, Ali was called scared when he postponed against Liston, Haye recently, Vitali was considered scared to retirement for postponing against Rahman  and many many many more.

All injuries in boxing seem to be conspiracy theories to extremely bored people. This is a physical sport, far more physical than many other sports combined and injuries are only normal in this case. For those that know what a boxing gym looks like shouldn't be surprised when injuries occur in training or live in the ring.
