Marquez - I see no point in fighting Manny a 5th time

Broken nose doesn't phase a masterful tactician like JMM. The fight was about even leading up to the KTFO.

JMM and manny both dominated the rounds they won, imo. Round 6 was going to manny before KTFO. I don't think either fighter was going to be stopped, but if the fight had gone 12, the two would never have fought again as it would've been mutually brutal.

JMM would've stunned/hurt/KD manny again if he didn't land the KTFO. He was loading up on his punches like he's never done in the past. manny was more fierce than he has been in the past, but JMM started making technical adjustments which would've favored him in the long run. Without the KTFO, manny wins another close, controversial SD. IMO...

I think if it goes the full 12, at around round 10, it will be all JMM. It's not impossible to think either that he can KD Pac again.
However, if Pac wasn't put to sleep in round 6, I have reasons to believe that he can TKO JMM from rounds 7-9.
That cut was huge.

Pac kept giving him chances because he couldn't get the result that Marquez just got...

a rematch with Mayweather would also bring him big money but he would lose every round
he will fight Pac after hard negotiations money wise

The issue is he now has leverage at the negotiating table, for years Arum, has been giving Pac opponents shitty ass purse splits, being one-sided and lousy contracts.

I would like to see Marquez in there with some ther 140-147 fighters, there are great matches to be made at those divisions.

 

Their styles clash beautifully. I wanna see number 5 with the winner facing Bradley.

I know where he's coming from.

But if Manny wants to fight him again and he intends on fighting again, he should do it again. It's big money for him and Manny and him make for great, can't miss fights.
