I think you underestimate how much is actually done during the 6 weeks, its very easy to observe how much muscle and speed is built up during training, for example just compare how Marquez is now to him 5 weeks ago.

It is well known in other sports that blood testing during training does stop ped use.

 

I agree. It's like football or basketball. Some get caught, some don't, but they ALL do it. If they didn't they couldn't compete at all. No juice, no NFL career PERIOD.

you know, if this is such a wide scale concern, the commission should do something about and let them handle it. this way, everyone is subjected to the same standards. now that is has gotten a lot of attention, then they should look deep into it. instead of boxers smearing each others' achievements, dragging everything to the mud.. let them handle it, full scale or not at all.

everyone should just be subject to standard testing. now if they find that current standards are not effective (which they may really are), then they should do something about it to subject all boxers to the same level of checking.

There is absolutely no evidence that PEDs provide any real benefits in boxing. Among the many that have been caught, which one performed to such an unbelievable level that it was attributed to their use of PEDs?

Let everyone take PEDs if they really believe that everyone else is doing it. This would level the playing field, at least in their minds.
