Juan beat him at least 3 times no need to put Manny in vegetative state for the rest of his life Manny can take the high road here and fight someone else Marquez will now be moving on to bigger and better things its his turn to make some coin

Even if we call them 2-2 for the hell of it.

Marquez two wins were far more dominant in style.

Very good point fight 3 and 4 however fight 1 and 2 were very close, and Manny scored 4 knock downs and Juan was still in those fights

Definitely they were. I thought the 3rd was an utter dominance by Marquez.

Though losing the 4th fight, the KO was spectacular and the biggest victory of the 4.

Pac pooped his pants in the 4th fight. That is the reason Buboy pushed that reporter out of the ring. He saw the poop leaking out and pushed him so he wouldnt get a shot before Buboy cleaned up Pac.

Jones wasn't 39 yrs old when he brutally ko'd the p4p king. Both Junior Jones and Norton went on to get brutally ko'd by other fighters. That's never happened with JMM. JMM's only real loss is against Mayweather. Comparing Junior Jones and Norton to Marquez because Marquez had Pacquiao's number when he's 39 yrs old not a good comparison. Marquez had more disadvantages than Jones and Norton ever did. What they did pails in comparison to Marquez.

Barrera was prime when he faced Jones, he couldn't even keep it competitive with the guy twice. That only makes Jones' accomplishment more relevant. So you're saying it's the rest of the resume that drags Jones down. Exactly my point. JMM doesn't have those bad losses, but other than Pac doesn't have any wins that rank with Pac's better wins, for example.

    Still in here making excuses?

Marquez's entire lightweight run is better than Pac's wins over Diaz, Solis, and Mosley. As is his win over Salido. Pacquiao's KO of Hatton and destruction of DLH and Cotto set him apart. But Marquez's win over Barrera is comparable to those. He wasn't shot for Manny and he certainly wasn't for Marquez.

This isn't Barrera-Jones, where a lower level fighter catches lightning in a bottle because of a stylistic advantage. This is Frazier-Ali. Pac may be more accomplished, but the gap between their resumes isn't so wide that you can clearly rank the more accomplished fighter ahead when he's been bested multiple times in the eyes of fans by his rival.

JMM should retire. He has the best win of the 4 fights but Manny still won more of them. **** off to your **** drinking JMM!

Exactly, so Marquez' stronger wins are comparable to Pac's weaker ones. Barrera 2 doesn't even figure on Pac's resume, and he didn't struggle nor get knocked down. Neither does Solis or Diaz, and he's criticized heavily for Mosley, who was fully comparable to Casa p4p and much tougher h2h. And you include that Casa in JMM's highlights.

Anyway, Frazier Ali works fine. I brought up Jones since the h2h was much more one sided, yet in "all time" rankings it's just as one sided the other way. Tarver Jones will work too.
