Mosley is not at all comparable to Casa. Casa didn't go life and death against someone as bad as Sergio Mora after getting nearly shut out against a fighter like Shane did Floyd. Ali-Frazier is appropriate because one is more accomplished, but at certain points it was justified to call Frazier the "better fighter". Pac is more accomplished because of a couple of signature wins, but JMM's resume is not so barren you can say Pac's all-time standing is inarguably above. I'd rank Pac above, but to say he's the better fighter overall? It's difficult. So many fans have Marquez besting him H2H multiple times. That kind of ability doesn't happen by luck.

    Sure he did. Look:

Mosley loses 11 rounds to p4p Floyd, gives him the scare of his life.
Casa loses 12 rounds to Santa Cruz (coming off stoppage loss to David Diaz), gets knocked down, receives Robbery of the century.

Mosley draws (beats in the eyes of most iirc) naturally bigger, awkward, hard chinned, former WBC champ at the weight Shane was never that good at.
Casa down on the cards, knocked out of the ring, pull late hail mary on Katsidis, who's never managed a full title.

The first two are really bad risk/reward (plus Nacho said no Bradley), third is low risk and reward, Floyd rematch pointless, and less money than Pac 5.

The scare of his life

Yes, talk up Sergio Mora as if Mosley's performance wasn't **** poor.

Casa didn't knock Katsidis down once in the first and in total twice prior to the stoppage? Katsidis is much more dangerous than Mora.

Casamayor was competitive for a reason. Marquez still ended up being the first man to stop him.

Look, there's no use arguing, your viewpoints are horribly skewed towards Pacquiao and inconsistent with the most knowledgeable and objective fans on the forum, go leave the forum be until Manny's next fight.

When has Floyd ever been in as much trouble as he was in in rd 2?

Mora is no great shakes but neither is Katsidis. Kats is the bigger puncher, if that's what you mean by "more dangerous". But he's not as accomplished (or skilled), doesn't have a win close to Forrest, and wasn't the naturally bigger guy.

Past prime Barrera and Juan Diaz were also competitive, for similar reasons.

No problem man, don't mean to upset. Continue the backpatting.

If Marquez won a decision I'd say that this move is messed up, but the fight ended with a KO. At this point point Pac shouldn't even want the Marquez fight, because he could be walking into ended his career instead of picking it up again and perhaps fighting Mayweather down the line.

Marquez is correct when he says he doesn't owe Pac anything. It wasn't that Pacquiao gave Marquez 4 chances, rather Pacquiao had to give himself 4 chances to prove he could decisively defeat Marquez. He couldn't/didn't the first 3 and the 4th time out he was annihilated. Therefore, Pacman 'game over.' Move on.

Marquez should avoid a fifth fight with Pac because he's obbessed with a win against Pac. There's a chance he could lose if he takes that fifth fight. I'm sure Pac will rebound from this lost and when he does I'm sure he won't be owing Marquez anything also when Marquez want that payday .
