    Power? How can you determine his power when he couldn't even land on his opponent? Mayweather made him look as slow as he did.

    If Marquez comes in great condition with smartly added weight, he can still give a great fight, because of his technical skill and stylistic advantages over Pacquiao. He's giving up a lot, but it's not black and white. His skill-set is superior to most if not all of Manny's welterweight opponents, regardless of how he himself would match up against the same opposition.

    Why would you say that is the right mentality? IMO, if the KO comes, the KO comes. If I am remembering correctly, Marquez tried to be the power puncher in the Mayweather bout, they thought they could hurt and stop Mayweather. Marquez needs to box, and try cope with Pacquiao's speed...if he hurts him, he hurts him...I wouldn't advise him to go looking for it though.

    Possibly, but would you risk neglecting a possible style advantage over your opponent just so it doesn't go to the cards?

    Marquez isn't being given much of a chance anyway, but loooking for the KO is probably the last thing he should be doing IMO. I do agree though, Marquez's best chance is to win via KO, can't see it happening though...and the points above are my reasons why.

    People forget that it was JMM that scared shitless of Manny and refuses to give Pac a rematch after their first fight.
