    :rofl

Mayorga's last fight was a couple months ago... physically he looked pretty old and pretty fat, but I'd say his ego is still comfortably inside the P4P top ten list.

well thats reality, a fight will be criticized by haters and will be justified by nuthuggers. both fights are garbage same with pac-mosley. it will not do good for boxing.

The only thing I've learned from this thread so far, is that "rayhogan" don't know **** about boxing.

I remember DLH getting all kinds of **** for fighting Yori Boy Campas...Yes DLH who fought everyone....Marquez gets **** for having an exhibition bout, but we all know damn well he fights anyone and was trying to get a fight with Pacquiao.

It's not like he's trying to MOSTLY or ONLY fight guys who have been exposed recently.

I didnt know people were giving "****" to either Cotto or Marquez for either of these fights... Why would you? Both of these guys (Mayorga and Morales as well actually) have given us nothing but good fights... Whats the big deal here?

Morales signed the fight. No one forced him to. How you going to be mad about it?

Because JMM is a higher rated fighter than Cotto at this point in time. But they are both **** fights but Morales is just way beyond shot.

It's okay JM22.... the people giving him **** are likely the same people who tried to say Marquez was the draw vs Mayweather only to come back and say Marquez doesn't deserve 5 mil against Pac.

I've said several times that Cotto-Mayorgo is a fight that I have little interest in seeing, and wish Miguel was fighting a more deserving and formidable opponent. That said, I've warmed up to the fight mainly due to Mayorga's press conference antics. And though his behavior was predictable, it still admittedly got me pumped. :D

And btw, the perception is that Morales has got much less left in the tank than does Mayorga which has a lot to due with the criticism that JMM is getting, imv.

obviously, but morales is a shot legend looking for the money, jmm is a p4p fighter, morales could end up seriously getting hurt.

Then you should be mad at Morales trainer, his dad cause his dad could easily talk to his son not to take this fight and just simply retired.

JMM is a ****ing warrior and Morales didn't fancy the fight when they were both in their primes. Of course Erik wants it now so he should get what he asks for, but other than the joy of Marquez finishing business in the JMM-Pac-MAB-EM rivalry which he deserves, it doesn't make much sense. It's maybe personal, but boxing deserves better than Pac-Mosley, Cotto-Mayorga and Marquez-Morales in a row. One would be tolerable with a note, 3 is too much of this crap but I guess if I have to choose which one to look forward to the most (or at all), it would be this. At least it meant something sometime ago.

His fault man. For that amount of money I wouldn't feel sad for anyone. But yeah hes going to get a good beating before leaving the ring. Lets just hope he doesn't nod off the fight in the 3rd round this time :bbb
