Marquez is getting sh!t for fighting Morales, why does Cotto get a free pass fighting

Cotto fights mayorga.

marquez fights morales.

pacman fights mosley!.

pac,cotto and marquez all fighting tough fighters who are older and past their best,but still are legends and warriors who will pose a threat should they not work hard and stay focused.

the only other opponents for cotto,marquez and pacman that pose real threats are probably:williams,martinez,floyd of course,khan/bradley?,and the other lightweight titlists for marquez.

 

because mayorga's antics are drawing interest in the fight, and taking away from the fact that it is a mismatch.

 

Atleast Cotto is putting his belt on the line.

 

Marquez is 37, been in a ton of wars and he's getting bs for taking on a 31 year old. Ok Morales is past it but he beat Diaz and got robbed not long ago and he's had a few good wins lately. I'd say he's atleast Euro standard. Nothing wrong with the Mayorga fight either I'll watch that if I can. It goes without saying that Pac would beat Marquez badly now but let's be real he has probly been on steroids for years and that's why he has been so succesful at moving up in weight. Don't get me wrong he's a hero not just in boxing but in life and trust me their are a lot of other boxers who do aswell but nobody can say Pac is clean until he proves it.

Mayorga has been knocked out everytime he's stepped up.......Trinidad, DLH, and Mosley....

 

1) Mayorga isn't as shot as Morales.

2) Cotto isn't as dangerous at 154 (above his optimal weight) as Marquez is as 135 (his current optimal weight).

Morales has seen his better days, but he's still capable of boxing and will not have a roid raged savage on an all out blitz headed right at him.
