Marquez is getting sh!t for fighting Morales, why does Cotto get a free pass fighting

Cotto fights everyone, and wants to fight guys who knocked him out. Marquez doesn't fight everyone. I never heard that he wanted a rematch with Johns.

Yet all of you will go out of your way to watch both these fights!!! This thread is pointless...Mayorga is a tune-up fight and morales for all we know could maybe actually put up a fight nobody knows...this is boxing anything can happen and not every fight in a boxers career is going to be a dream match, no need to put cotto and jmm down...after all the wars these 2 have been in they deserve an "easy" fight!

 

They are both fearless fighters who duck nobody and are taking an easy monetarily rewarding fight before probably fighting some of the most important fights of their careers (JMM at 140 and Cotto against Margarito.) For ****'s sake.

I'd say both fight on all comers, but most recent fights, Marquez is deeper and is more deserving for an easy fight.

no idea...expecially when marquez is a almost 38 year old light weight champion...which is unheard of....guys are shot at that weight when they are 30 years old most of the time

 

That's why I said real fight. Many top fighters fight down to the level of their competition, especially when working out is no longer the norm.

But since Morales knows this is pretty much a lottery ticket, it makes sesne he will come fully prepared to the best of his ability at his stage.

I expect Marquez to brutally kick his ass though.
