Saul Canelo Alvarez could mimic him but he is not as fast as PBF however he is much stronger than PBF.

Somebody mentioned Steve Forbes.......Forbes seriously would be a strong asset, he has speed and most of the defensive moves Mayweather has......

......sadly for us JMM supporters, Forbes has a history and friendship with the Mayweathers.......both Roger and Jeff Mayweather have trained Forbes in the past, so it would be a monumental mistake for Nacho to bring a spy into their camp and find out for Floyd what Marquez has got in camp.:D

Somebody has already mentioned it......you cant duplicate the real thing. Both Marquez and Mayweather are going to have to solve it in the ring.

I really hope they aren't just focusing on speed and under estimating Floyds power. He has had time off to rest his body, his power is under rated, he is naturally bigger. If they don't focus on power and speed its going to be a very short night for Marquez.

Believe me, that camp led by Nacho Beristain is a proffesional camp that just does'nt focus and key in on one particular aspect.......

Marquez took some solid left hands from a true puncher in Pacquiao. There is no reason to believe that Mayweather is just going to overwhelm Marquez with punching power.

The focus for Marquez should be on solving Mayweather's quickness and speed, but believe me, they're not going to be viewing Mayweather as just a featherfisted defensive specialist.
They know that Floyd Mayweather is a special fighter, which is why JMM called out, "I want to fight the best p4p fighter in the world."
.......and Marquez did'nt crack a smile or opened his mouth just for the sake of getting a reaction, as fighters often do.
When Marquez called out Mayweather, he was challenging himself. Challenging himself to find out to what level he can take it.

Believe me, I've heard several Marquez interviews in his fluid tongue of spanish......he's taking nothing for granted.

To the people mentioning Joan Guzman, keep in mind that most likely won't happen either because Guzman is occasionally trained by Floyd Sr.

Same with Steve Forbes who also has a connection the Mayweathers.

I think the same could be said for Floyd who will he spar with...its not likely that you will find someone who can work the body as well and fight as intelligiently as Marquez. In fact if the injury ( a big if) was real then I would think that PBF is dead already.
