Marquez is my favorite active fighter (RJJ aside) but after watching some footage of Serhiy Fedchenko, I think he is going to have a tough time with this guy. Marquez is the better fighter, but Serhiy is not bad technically and although not a puncher, is strong and has a solid chin. His hadspeed is respectable too. Hes not usually busy enough to win a decision but he can make it close, and its not an impossible task. I think this one goes to the cards and JMM wins a close and maybe controversial decision.
Nobody of note tbh except Corley (I thought he got a gift) However, he is a solid 140 even if not as talented as Marquez, he is the type of fighter that is good and well rounded. Hes just not great at anything in particular. I just think at 38 and with this guy having some momentum having won his last 7, it could be a tough night for JMM. I hope I am wrong.
So he looks impressive but he has beaten on nobodies and got a gift against Corley who had lost 3 of his last 5? Hmm, maybe you're right, I've not seen any footage of him but his record is unimpressive. And JMM being 38 is seemingly irrelevant, he still gave pac hell.
I never said he looks impressive. Just that hes a solid fighter who could trouble Marquez. Marquez has Pacquiaos number at any weight imo. These are the kind of fights that are ovelooked but end up being tougher than expected. I could be wrong.
Marquez won't destroy him like a Likar Ramos (cue the "it was a dive" idiots :roll but he'll beat him, soundly. He's better in every area, and not just strength/power.
What are you talking about? Who is the "other" JMM? Do you mean the fat bloated JMM who had no business being in the ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr. giving up so much size to a guy who probably would beat him prime for prime if they were the same size anyway? :huh That was a one-off. There is only one JuanMa Dinamita Marquez, and he beats Fedchenko even on a bad night.
At this stage of his career JMM could literally get old overnight and an upset would not be surprising but I justsaw some recent video of JMM training and he looks in good shape so I'm confident he wil beat Fedchenko.
