According to Fernado Beltran (Marquez Promoter) the fight is almost a done deal. "The deal is almost done. It is a very attractive fight since it has a lot to offer to the fans. Lets hope JML does good against Concepcion since it would be very good to see them fight. Mexicans and Puerto Ricans have a very good boxing rivalry. The fight is almost a done deal, lets just say that it depends on how JML performs against Concepcion." Beltran said

    Hell Yeah bring it on!!!!!!!!

The only thing I dont like is that they have a September 18 date for the fight already (according to the article) so lets just hope that JML makes a quick work out of Concepcion because if JML gets cut more than likely that date will get pushed.

Yep, Lopez taking on a shot former great. At least Gamboa is considering Caballero, John and Rojas even though Bob Arum is blocking those and preferring other champs like Salido or Solis.

Come on now, Lopez takes it, but I'll very strongly support the old warrior and hope he'll win bigtime.

    Come on Rafa!!!!!!

    Vamos Rafa!

Haven't seen much of Lopez but Marquez never disappoints.

Lopez is building up a really solid resume. The champions he's been beating have been damn good fighters. Never gets any credit though.

I consider the Penalosa win to be very underrated.

Oh definitely. To stop him for the first time is very good, and apart from the De Leon loss Penalosa has pretty much been robbed every other time.
