we'll see who bumps this on sunday morning.

You act like JMM is all about speed, his game is much deeper than that

I agree but you brought up the speed bit...JMMs game is deep, but now he's at LW a whole new world and he's facing the old dirty dog that just doesnt know how to go away....this old dog still has every tool he's ever had only now is more intelligent, much more intelligent, slick, and powerful than anyone JMM has ever faced....So on that note if JMM does infact win this fight I'll give him all the credit in the world!!!!

I agree and disagree. Timing is great, but I would go with speed. You have to be a phenominal athlete to keep catching someone with for example a 130 Camacho. With that said, I hope the person with the timing has power to follow. Speed is all night and timing is far and between. A fighter by the name of Rick Roufas was a phenominal timed fighter with power. It is beauty to see timed power shots with other fighters with speed or not. That's my take on that.

I brought up speed to say that Casa is too slow. JMM will see everything Casa throws and will have time to react to everything.

I truly believe Marquez is going to be much stronger than people think. I believe he is going to attack the body as soon as the bell rings. Casa being already 37 will try possibly dirty tactics and I hope Marquez and his corner are ready for it. I just see a mid to late stoppage for Marquez.

Speed is great yes, but is again nullified in the face of timing, always has been always will be, what is extremely rare is timing+speed, not many have it and Marquez certainly doesnt, Marquez plays right into the spiderweb of timing that Casa has always had...speed also means nothing if you can't land much as is the case here, it also contributes to a fighter gassing late in the fight and well if he's not landing he's open for a counter:deal

Katsidis landed flush on Casa all night long, you think JMM will have trouble finding the mark?

Katsidis had his moments but all night long? NO WAY......consider Katsidis can take a real LW beating...Pac wouldnt be able to handout such a beating at LW and he floored JMM, see where I'm going here? It all goes back to timing and the fact that Casa is a slippery old dog, one that COULD give JMM the greatest fits of his career..Casa isnt that slow, and aside from the timing aspect JMM is weaker in every department but speed which you may find about even come fight night....JMM will be countered into oblivion hence my pick Casa UD

I expect a late stoppage for Marquez.

The only trouble for JMM will be when Casa uses his shady practices to get some momentum.

I suspect JMM will win, but it'll be competitive. Marquez has struggled somewhat against other boxers, as he usually tries to be the aggressor and let's his opponent box. This takes him out of his element as he is not nearly as effective off the front foot as he is purely counter punching. Also Casa is a Southpaw who's best punch is the straight left, a punch that marquez has had troube avoiding during his career. Obviously Casa isn't nearly as quick/explosive as Pacquiao, however I think it will still be an effetive weapon for Casa. The Southpaw/Orthodox clash aswell as Casa's notable ability to bend the rules may cause a headbutt at some stage in the fight. If it does occur, this could severely hamper either fighters chance at winning. Despite this I'm still picking JMM by a competive decision, something like 116-112, these are just a few points to consider.

JMM is the better boxer, not sure that he will be carrying his power with him. I believe he will also be the faster of the two. I just hope Casa doesn't get into his head. Casa has done it time and again with his tactics.
