the marquez fight tonight reminded me of the first diaz fight last year. i think it's the leader right now. litzau takes the upset of the year award unless klitschko loses in a couple weeks :)

Agreed on both counts. Litzau's win could also win "Comeback of the Year."

And Martinez-Williams is the KO of the year.

Wasn't there a few good fights at the start of the year? Then after the Williams-Cintron fiasco it seemed like everything just came to a screeching halt.

JMM-Katsidis is FOTY so far followed by Calderon-Segura.

KO of the year is definitely Martinez-Williams.

Li Lee over world #1 SBW Poonsawat is still my pick for Upset of the Year, but this was pretty unexpected as well.

Burns-Martinez should definitely be in the running for FOTY.

I really didn't see Caba's loss coming- that's probably going to be upset of the year. Ring always rated him highly, he was in their P4P Top 10 for a while, so I'm sure it will.

Either Escalante-Roman and Cazares-Nashiro I think take FOTY, although Poonsawat-Hosono was good as well. Also, Bass beating Nino and Lee beating Poonsawat are bigger upsets.

Mares v Perez is a definite candidate.

Burns v Martinez was a great fight and also a candidate for upset of the year.

KO of the year? The dude that knocked out Enzo, Pirog's KO of Jacobs and of course Martinez v Williams which was without question the KO of the year.....................................so far ;)
