Marquez Katsidis Khan

Khan is the much easier fight. Can't see Marquez taking Katsidis shots.

 

I think he will face Katsidis. I don't think Nacho Beristein is too keen on his fighter facing Khan. He sees it as goldenboy having milked the old veteran and are now ready to throw him to the young lion (Khan) so that Khan can have another big name on his record. That's the way I see it too. I'm hoping he will face Katsidis. It's the fight that makes the most sense right now. As for Khan, I would be happy as long as he faced one of the big four at 140 next (Bradley, Alexander, Ortiz or Maidana).

 

Marquez beats Katsidis and then I hope he retires. He's an incredible fighter and I don't want him seeing out his career taking a beating.

marquez katsidis at 135 is a real barn stormer in the making and sure fire FOTY candidate and would favour marquez but not massivly

but weres the money , i say he fights khan but want him to fight katsidis

 

I think JMM fancies some of the spartan next and it'll be a topper.If Bradley v Alexander is completed, looks like Khan will be facing Maidana in Dec.

 

IMO, JMM should fight Katsidis and if/when he wins, then go after Khan. Of course if the money is right, he'll probably go for Khan immediately. If JMM can beat Khan @ 140, then he'll be closer to his dream match w/ Pac.

 

If its a choice between the two, he'll go for Khan 100%. Katsidis is a high risk, low return fight whereas Khan will be for more money and a title at a higher weight. For a fans point of view the Katsidis fight is a clear winner but from a business point of view its a no brainer.

 

The fight I would have wanted to see is Marquez v Valero, too bad that's never going to happen. I would love to see Marquez take Khan out though. My only worry would be how Marquez would hold the weight, plus his foot speed seems to have declined somewhat. The Kastidas would be a right tear up as well.

I wouldn't complain about any of the fights out there for Marquez at the moment. I would love it if he got a shot at Pac, but that's for another thread.

 

JMM should face Katsidis(he has earned his shot) and stay at 135

I hope then GBP are forced into making Khan-Maidana(Khan's mandatory) for Dec 11th

 

Hopefully he'll fight Katsidis. I can see Katsidis stopping him late.

 

I hope he fights katsidis. as people have said, he's done more than enough to earn his shot and it would be a great fight. Hopefully they will because Khan will have no option bu to fight Maidana (i say that but he'll probably find an excuse to fight guerrero or someone like that, and thats coming from a khan fan)

 

Katsidis is a good fghter but Marquez should keep fighting elite fighters and face Khan. Khan should win late but it would be an epic night for boxing.

Maidana is **** scared of Khan...Katsidid does deserve a chance soon though.

 

JMM should fight Kats, and leave Khan alone, JMM gives too much away at those higher weights, and it was a shame to see him how he looked against mayweather.
He will have a good shout against Kts, but i would rather see that than Khan beat him at 140
