So can anyone explain how Manny went from the beast mode KO, TKO King, super fast, strong, broke Margarito's orbital bone to KO6? The PED accusations where coming from every angle on Pacquiao, he soon fires Ariza, starts taking random drug tests for the first time and just like that his KO's fizzle, his fights become bland, he goes the distance with amateurs like Rios and Algieri, loses to Bradley controversially, and gets outboxed (fight 3) and KO6 by Marquez? Now the funny thing is that everyone accused Marquez of going on steroids at the same time Manny was coming off Roids. If true then it's no wonder Manny got Hattoned. Steroid Manny put Hatton to sleep with one punch, steroid Marquez puts Manny to sleep with one punch.......fair? What will be great about May-Pac is OST will be in play, no Roids, 12 rounds to determine the best, Pac fans do you see this fight as fair or do you see Floyd as having some kind of "hidden" advantage?
so basically you are saying floyd will also knock out pac and stop him since he is done according to you?
you do realize Pacquiao moved up 10 weight classes in his career, you cant carry your KO power forever, other then making Oscar quit, Pacquiao has never KO'd anyone at 147, its a myth that after Cotto, Pacs power suddenly vanished fact is he was never a KO artist at 147 and count how many times Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, JMM, Bradley and Rios have been KO'd in their careers? and you expect a former flyweight to KO some of the toughest Welterweights? he may be the closet thing but Pacquiao is not superman.
Marquez was always a stylistic problem for Manny. Manny got caught. Simple as that. Anybody who knows boxing knows Manny is always at risk because of his style, he comes in lunging behind a speedy salvo of punches. In regard to boxing, those two are what bring out the best in each other. Just IMO. Marquez/Pacquiao is a great example of a boxing rivalry. They say every great boxer needs another specific boxer to really push them to their limits, and Marquez is that guy for Pacquiao. Those two men can fight 50 times, and you'll have a war every time.
When Floyd was ducking Pac, you turds were riding Roidquez's jock... Now that Floyd is forced to fight Pac by Moonves, y'all still riding Roidquez's jock.
Floydettes were using the Roidquez KO to excuse Floyd's disgraceful ducking... Now that Moonves pushed a finger knuckle deep up Floyd's ass and said "fight him," Floydettes are mad nervous that Pac might not be shot. :hey
Yeah but the majority of Pac's opponents have been junior welterweights moving up to fight him so carrying his power shouldn't be an issue when he is the bigger man in the heavier weight division. When he moved to welter he had no problem hurting Oscar and Cotto, much bigger men than Rios, Algieri, Marquez or Bradley.
So Manny never learns or changes his tactics is what your saying? That's bad going into a Floyd fight
Based on what I've seen in his 4 fights with Marquez, no. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfBmqlO6rh4 is a good video on some of Pac's issues) Pacquiao loves feints, and Mayweather is one of the best at it, just like Marquez. Don't get me wrong here, Pacquiao PUSHED Marquez. But the theory here is: Mayweather is a superior boxer to Marquez in every department other than straight punching power. (that was also proved in the ring) Marquez can crack however, no doubt about that. Southpaw Kryptonite is going to be on display: The straight right hand. I don't care what anybody tells you, a great straight right hand will cause a Southpaw a world of problems. And Mayweather's is great. Call me old fashioned, but when speed is neutralized (and both men will be approximately equal in this department) timing and boxing fundamentals carry the day. That goes to Mayweather in my view. Even in the Bradley fights... Manny really didn't make any incredible adjustment. The adjustment was the horrendous judging/scoring from the 1st fight. :deal
Two things: Cotto and Oscar, as naturally bigger and "older" men than Bradley or Algieri, were easier for a younger Pac to relentlessly punish by hitting them over and over, and they had the "big man" mentality: I am bigger, I am going to steamroll him. This allows Pac to destroy you. Pac got less relentless in his punishment and people stopped thinking they could bulldoze him, because they saw what happened to people who tried to run him over and instead tried to box cautiously. Obviously the opponent mentality changed. Rios is just a typical box of rocks in that skull - you have to practically kill him to stop him, and Manny was a little shy to pull the trigger there.
