Regardless of what they say. JMM will allow PBF to be the aggressor.
I can't wait to see Floyd fighting going foward against a pure counter puncher like JMM.

Most of everyone's work rate drops against PBF along with their connect %, JMM will be no different.

So does everyone's workrate drop vs Pacquiao and it did'nt slow Marquez' workrate against him.

You're dead wrong here PC, JMM is'nt just any fighter just as Mayweather is'nt just any fighter.

Pac and PBF can't be compared here one is an aggressive pressure fighter the other is a defensive counter-puncher. PBF's defense is light years beyond Pac's and far more complicated. JMM will find PBF a difficult puzzle to solve his workrate will drop if he's smart but if he tries to come in on PBF who has faster hands and longer arms he will get beaten to the punch and countered to hell and back and systematically broken down over the course of the fight. His best bet is to try and make PBF come to him.

Putting on muscle isn't going to do much for Marquez. He'll be stronger and slower.

putting on muscle does not necessarily means becoming slower. Marquez hands speed should still be there, its his foot speed that might slow some what. Then you also have to consider Marquez is not the type of fighter that relies on physical attributes, such as speed , strength or punching power, he relies on timing and out smarting his opponent. And too Marquez credit he has beaten fighters who physical attributes accedes his own, this is why Marquez and floyd are two of the fighters I like to watch.

I have seen video of him where he looks slow and I have seen video where his speed is better. I tried to see glove size but could not tell. However, I noted that he is shortening his punches and attacking the body first. Also Marquez did train his core which will allow him to pack more of a punch.

Floyd does look a hair slower and I think PBF will be drained going into the fight because of the Catch Weight and the later rounds probably will not be kind to him.

The 24/7 video has me convinced that Marquez will surprise Floyd. It also shows that Roger is bothered by Floyd Sr's presence--in a scene where Floyd is talking to his Dad Roger looks angry at Floyd Sr.

I agree with the post that PBF is desperately trying to be likable.

I had seen pics of him earlier so I already knew what he looked like. He looks good at the weight but I wont be certain until I see him in the ring.

His brother Raphael looks pretty good, he didnt look like he gained any weight or anything, I wonder if he is going to fight again?
