JMM of 2010 not as good as JMM of 2004 shock!!

He is declined due to his age and also ware and tear.

He is like every other boxer, you cant fight age at the end of the day, you can just prolong it by living right.

What we saw last night is what i expected, an older verion of JMM whose lost a bit of speed and stamina.

JMM is getting on in age so its expected that he's gonna slow down astep or two at this point. He's still a level above most of the elite boxers in the world today despite that.

I gotta agree with most of you that I'd rather see Pac fight JMM than Margarito. Sure JMM at this point in time might be a tad too slow to keep up with Pac anymore but the man deserves a shot a helluva lot more than Margarito does.

In what universe or dimension did Marquez beat Pacquiao? And why would he whine about a trilogy if he claims that he already beat Pacquiao twice? :huh

Why are we talking about who deserves the fight against Pac more? If we were Santa Claus, then Marquez deserves the payday since Margarito has been a bad boy. But would Marquez pose a bigger threat and a more challenging fight to Pacquiao? I wanna see blood, dammit!

Slowing down is inevitable for JMM at his age, but I think that decision moving up in weight in his last fight with Floyd got him quickly to that stage.

JMM was able to counter a much faster, stronger Pacquiao at 130. He then fights at 144 and then 135, he's still a force, but definitely not the same fighter. The version that fought Pacman would of destroyed Diaz with ease. He's also a great finisher and was surprised he didn't stop Diaz earlier. He's great for a 39yr old, but to fight Pacman at 140 or higher now that Pacman is at his peak would be foolish and a mismatch. The 3rd fight between should of happened at 130, not 140 or 147.

I think JMM's performance did go down and he's taking some shots.
