    Morales fended off and nearly beat Marcos Maidana, whom I would pick to beat Marquez.

    maidana's one of my favorite fighters but if marquez cant be overwhelmed by pacquiao, he definitely cannot be overwhelmed by the crude chino maidana.

    Marquez has trouble with guys that apply relentless pressure. Yes, he beat Diaz and Katsidis, but they also took him to deep waters. Pacquiao's more of an in-and-out flurry kind of guy, which allows Marquez to time him and counter him. I would pick Rios and Maidana to beat Marquez at 140.

    good point but maidana's crude and I just don't see him stopping marquez, which is really the only way I see him winning, especially with marquez's new strength and conditioning. too technical, too gritty.

    No cruder than Katsidis. And Katsidis hurt Marquez. Maidana's bigger and punches harder, too.

    I agree, but I feel like has revitalized himself. he looked a totally new animal to me in the pacquiao fight, one that can outbox maidana in a war of a fight, maybe suffering a knockdown but definitely not being stopped.
