Is Marquez overrated because he just schooled a fighter that most of the forum regarded as the best fighter in the past decade? Is this a sour grapes thread? And if Marquez is in fact overrated, where does that leave Pac!!
Dude! Give it up! Sure he got his ass knocked down by Katsidis yet he schooled pac, that proves that he is an ATG! *******!
HOF? He will get in. ATG? Just like the P4P concept, its matter of opinion. Get over it. ATG or P4P are concept. You cant really measure that. Everybody hav e a different ****ing list. ATG? What ATG?? 10, 20, 50, you can make the list as big as you want to include whatever fighter you want. Is this worth a thread??? Overrated?? Hell ****ing no!!
No doubt Pac probably landed a few Calzaghe like slaps in there - amongst all those missed combos. Marquez thrown power shots, hitting Pac flush and hard, all the good shots were landed by Marquez in what many experts view as a near one sided beating. I dont know many experts who even thought Pac won. Is the best you got computer like statistics that record slaps?
I'll sum up my thoughts of Marquez's overlooked and underrated career with this response to MAG's assertion that Marquez is to Barkley what Pacquiao is to Hearns....a stylistic challenge with no other outstanding accomplishments to attest greatness:

MC: I felt really good at that weight. It wasn’t a problem for me.
we're talking about marquez here.. I'd like to know your opinion about his resume. I'm curious as to why people rank him so high despite having a mediocre resume!
