Maroid: My roid will knock PAC out...he was right. If it wasn't roid, I'm sure it has to be **** because pee didn't quite work.
Are you real? After the 3rd fight even the vermin Arum said there was justifiable reason for Marquez to demand a 4th fight. Although he would never admit that his cash cow was gifted a decision, he clearly indicated that Marquez was right to feel robbed. There is no reason for a 5th fight because if you had watched the video clip a few posts above yours, you would have seen Paci_OW backing off from throwing his combinations in the second half of the 6th round because Marquez started hurting him, when he stayed in there too long. So he tried to lunge in, throw a shot, and get the fvck back out before the Mexican hurt him again. Marquez set him up, and timed him to perfection. No need for feeble excuses, or revisionism here. The clip SHOWS what happened.
So lets get this clear. The former Flyweight, batters Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto ( albeit 2 were weight drained, and 1 was shot to **** ) refuses to be tested, and he is CLEAN. Marquez KTFO said clown, and is DIRTY. Pacturd logic at its finest.:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:
Manny was clearly winning the fight but then prematurely thought marquez was finished when he still had a lot left in the tank and managed to stay calm and stick to his gameplan. Credit to both fighters who didn't leave anything out of the ring on fight night. Another classic and would be a shame if they didn't fight for the 5th time.
The score cards said he was 1 point up on all 3. That is not CLEARLY winning a fight that is only half way through. I urge you to look at the clip Divac shows on the previous page. Paci_OW has clearly shot his bolt, and is reluctant to go in all guns blazing with combos after 1.30 of round 6. Marquez is starting to hurt him with counters, so he is lunging in throwing 1 or 2 shots and getting back out again. He was always going to get nailed with hard right hand counters after that, so there is every possibility the KO would have come later anyway.
Well marquez scored the early knockdown but when manny knocked him down he was more badly hurt and marquez was retreating whereas manny recovered quickly from his kd I never said he was winning on the scorecards by a milestone, but you could see from watching the fight manny looked as if he had the upper hand not to mention marquez was all bloodied. No one can say in the 5th and 6th that marquez looked like he had a hold on the fight, there was times he you could see he was badly hurt and wanting to hang on.
http://compuboxonline.com/compubox-stats-marquez-ko-6-pacquiao/ paq 94/256 37% connect percentage jmm 52/246 21% connect percentage outlanding another guy by almost half as many shots and at almost twice the connect percentage is pretty convincing. jmm was very close to being ko'd in the fifth round. and for all you guys that say that manny is ruined and will lose to rios i would suggest you look at the careers of roberto duran, evender holyfield, tommy morrison and terry norris after they suffered their devastating ko losses.
I love Pac and hate all the disrespect for a guy who really leaves everything in the ring and gave a guy who he clearly sucks against many many rematches. After the first fight I thought - dodged that bullet, deserved to win but probably won't win a rematch now that jmm figured him out. But the way manny's style is leaves him to be hit cleanly rushing in way more than the other all time greats you mention. Duran turned his head every time. Terry Norris had bad knock outs but his skill set was superb. If pac has lost his ability to recover from a good punch then that hurts him more than those other atgs. I was actually worried about this for the first four de la Hoya rounds and the cotto fight - little guys who are reckless can be really hurt very easily. I hope he retires soon. I would hate to see some meldrick Taylor kind of stuff happening to him.
Jmm 3 and 4 were lose-lose fights for Pac. Supposed to walk through the old guy, but he clearly knows you inside and out and has your number. Superior athleticism was supposed to carry the day, but Arum was a real dick for setting up these rematches. Legacy threatening match making. You don't have Mosley fight forrest four times.
agreed on all points especially mannys fighting style being more susceptable to punishment than the others. and a ko loss affects everyone differently but paq has never really been hurt before. hes had wars but not brutal ones that ruin a fighter overnight. by the way, what you are saying about manny could apply to jmm as well. if bradley wasnt coming off two beatdowns of his own i would be fading jmm. im a big fan of marquez but his stock is at an all time high and he really did not look very good against katsidis or manny in the fourth fight. paq outlanded jmm and with a higher connect percentage in every one of the six rounds except one. i think jmm would lose to both garcia and especially matthysse if they fought now.
The Pacquiao was "Ahead/Winning until..." stuff is the funniest **** to read. Like the race car driver winning the race until the "Wall" got in the way.
