Skillwise, he is arguably within top 3.

P4P takes into account skill on at least an equal measure as resume. Resume is there to support the argument of how skilled a fighter is in a P4P argument IMO. Just how I see it. Otherwise, Calzaghe wouldn't be as high as he is either.

Juan Manuel Marquez deserves to be top 3 because I wasn't blind and saw that he outboxed Manny for 10 rounds. He then beat Barrera, and Jaurez convincingly.

P4P means you are a dominant force. I agree JMM at #3 is overated by GB magazine.

Here's what I posted in another thread.

The Ring lost credibility by not including Diaz & Pavlik in the top 10. Why??? Because they're not Golden boy fighter??? Hatton, Wright & Rafa all coming of a loss & still there??? Pavlik the undisputed Middleweight Champ & Diaz the Unified 3 belt holder not there??

Pavlik KO the Guy in an impressive fashion the guy that twice beat the Current #4 Hopkins. Who da pac voted for that P4P list??? DLH, Schaefer & Bhop????

Let me arrange the P4P list:

    1. PBF..for now till Pac Proves he really is the one.
    2. Pac.. Nobody can claim this spot other than floyd
    3. Calzaghe.. By winning impressively on his recent fight against great competition.
    4. Pavlik... for beating the Guy who Bhop cannot beat.
    5. JMM... Could be higher if he avenge his loss to John.
    6. Cotto... Great wins against the toughest competition.
    7. Bhop... still give respect to the old man. But you need to fight often.
    8. Vasquez.. he deserves this spot, another win against Rafa moves him up one more spot.
    9. Diaz.. He has to be in this Class. Dominant win against top Lightweights, High compubox rating second only to PBF.
    10. Rafa.. for his contribution to the action packed trilogy.

The Rings & Golden boys...If you need expert to join your panel..give me a buzz. I'm Fair & but I'm firm.

does anyone who really knows boxing even believe in the whole p4p myth? i don't think it should apply to active fighters. it's all bullshyt and a waste of time.

JMM has never really lost in the ring. He has 3 bull**** losses, and the rest wins. I also felt that he completely dominated Pac after that first round, and clearly won that fight.

    He deserves that ranking.
