jmm doesnt have the time for a tournament.

    too much risk.

hes going to go for that 20mm.

    paq knows it.

    arum knows it.

anyone that has ever been in a postion of power knows it.

too many people here live their life on a hallmark card and hopeful happy endings.

this is about the real world and money.

    lots of money.

Interestingly, he hasn't ruled out retirement.

Good news, the 4th fight definitively ended the rivalry and now it's time to close the chapter.

The way it went down is that Marquez and Nacho criticized Jose Sulaiman and the WBC for its way of ranking fighters. Basically the criticism was of the WBC for taking their vacant belt and matching Canelo againt Mathew Hatton an unranked fighter to fight for the Junior middleweight title.

The criticism was of the WBC but Canelo took it personally and shot jabs at Marquez who then was a lightweight, stating they could fight at Welterweight.

I think there's some resentment on Canelo's part for Marquez not backing his first title try against Mathew Hatton.

As for now, Canelo allready has a following and wants to increase that.
Mayweather is'nt interested in a real challenge and so what GBP must be looking to do is to try and entice Marquez, now recognizeable to the masses just having brutally knocked out Pacquiao, to fight Canelo at Junior middleweight.
Its likely not serious talk but GBP just throwing it out there to see if Marquez would be dumb enough to fall for the bait.

A 5th fight with Pacquiao is still a possibility, but its going to have to be 50/50 or the highway for Pacquiao if he wants a chance at revenge!

Good. The rinse and repeat was starting to become a touch tiresome.

I could never say a bad thing about JMM, but I feel he should have given Manny the fifth fight, seeing as Manny gave him the third and fourth fights when he didn't have to. Then again, this is boxing and JMM owes nobody nothing

So, it took 3 rematches for him to finally get exposed? How does one of the best p4p fighters in the world get "exposed" all of a sudden? You win or lose, you don't get ****ing exposed.

Marquez beats all of them. The only one who I would say has a small chance would be Garcia and maybe Matthyse since I see him as an undefeated fighter.
