He would have if Bradley didn't get a gift decision against Pacquiao. The reason why he went for Bradley, in my opinion, is to make history and then retire.

Pretty much this. But I think that even if Bradely fight Marquez again and have a close match, Marquez may once again cry foul and ask for a rematch.

He will cry for sure but he's definitely retiring if he loses again and won't go for a rematch.

    For sure it was

But he had already made history. He should have walked away after that punch

There's nothing sadder in boxing than seeing the guy you idolize carry on when he shouldnt

    I dont agree.
Marquez is'nt in his prime, but the Bradley fight proved he's capable of competing against a younger fighter who's style is geared to handle older fighters on the decline.

To much money at stake in this era to go out on the highest of notes.
I prefer a fighter leaves it in the ring and retires with no regrets.

I do agree that there's nothing sadder than seeing someone you idolize carry on when he shouldn't but still he owes Pacquiao a rematch in my opinion. Pacquiao gave him four shots when he could have easily walked away and picked on others.

Marquez did'nt get embarrassed, in fact a case can be made he beat Bradley. He certainly landed the harder more telling punches.

He FINALLY gave JMM the 3rd fight after he saw how old fat bloated and **** JMM looked against Floyd

After that pathetic robbery, with the crowd booooooing their lungs out, he was left with little choice but to fight him again

How did he "finally" give him a third fight?. Pacquiao was fighting at welterweight while Marquez went back to Lightweight after his gutsy attempt against Mayweather. Marquez decided he's willing to move up and Pacquiao gave him a shot for it. Pacquiao could have easily told him "you failed against Mayweather, I'm not interested". Even before the fourth fight happened the public were already saying they got sick of watching these two fighting each other in 50/50 fights. Pacquiao could have also used that to walk away from a fourth fight but he didn't.

Like it or not, you have to admit that Marquez was being ducked by everyone(Morales, Barrera and Hamed) back in the day yet Pacquiao was the one that gave him the shot.

Sure JMM can still compete with the best... but for what? What possible better way is there to leave the sport than to put to sleep the guy who's tormented you your whole career, and with one of the most devastating punches in boxing history?

    Exactly!

Marquez had to wait 4 years for fight 2, and that fight only happened because Marquez publicly laid his cards on the table and voiced he'd given to every Pacquiao demand to fight him.
Marquez ended up getting about a 20% split at a time when Pacquiao was not a household name.

Had to wait years again for fight 3 and like you said, Pacquiao only took it because he thought Marquez was an old hasbeen having seen Marquez fight Mayweather. He certainly did'nt think Marquez could handle fighting as a welterweight.

All of these Marquez fights for Pacquiao took place when Pacquiao was running out of opponents to fight that could land him big paydays, its not like Pacquiao was fighting Marquez to give him the opportunity. He was fighting for the payday.
FIght 4 took place because the Bradley fight bombed in PPV sales.

After 3 robberies, Marquez owes Pacquiao zero!
Marquez made it right and history will show it. KTFO6 Justice prevails!
