he really wasn't. Physically he might've been near enough prime, but mentally he was all over the place.

Marquez is talking out of his ass. Just look at his record. It speaks for itself.

No Hall of Famer ever quit after a loss, even if his ass was handed to him in that loss as was Hamed's by MAB.

I don't hate Hamed because he was cocky. I'm not of the type that's affected by such things (most of these people are cocky, some just don't hide it). I just didn't like how he fought. He seemed to be too awkward to be enjoyable to watch if you ask me. I haven't really liked much of his fights until the stoppages happened or maybe the Barrera fight because there was more consistent action. I just hate how he fought, and haven't seen what the big deal was about him, in the fights I've seen.

hell no he couldnt... im not doubting naz, he was excellent, definatly deserves his nod in boxings hall of fame, but he could not beat either of those four in his prime.

Hamed wasn't the same anymore after fighting a ton of buckingham palace guards on the side. He was exposed plain and simple.

I don't think he's HOF good. His resume is lacking.

Question though, does Tyson with his resume belong on the HOF? Or some of you think that just by watching him fight in his prime he should be in it? I don't know. Tyson unified, and was the youngest HW and I believe that he could have beaten some of the best when he was in his prime but again, we didn't see it, he didn't fight them, so it's just a what if, and we have to go by his resume.

Similar things could be said for Hamed?

Kelly was a solid puncher and had speed, Nassem gave him no respect at all and got caught twice, you just can't do that with a speedy reflexive fighter, the only reason Nassem was going to win is because he had an Anvil for a chin and Kelly traded with his power.

No doubt he was more hungry, the Barrera Pac fought was a worn down tired version, the young Barrera was a very different fighter, I would say vicous, Nassem had the most talent I have ever seen in a boxer, he just lacked the vision, and will power to train, it is nobody elses fault but his own, I see him like a Mariah Carey, very talented with great skills, yet they went Stir Crazy! if he grow up poor that would not have happened, the value of single pound or dollar never escapes you.

What? Virtually every Hall of Fame and hell, every fighter in general quit after a loss. Fighters retiring after a win is an exception not the rule.
