I don't see how HBO is putting up 15 million for the fight alone.

He will receive just 1/5 of what Mayweather will be receiving. Not even 80-20, more like 83-17.

Thats more than the $80,000.00 he made when he fought Chris John and lost. On top of that he had just turned down close to a million ($800,000.00 or something close to that) for a rematch with Pac.

if this is true and PBF is really making 15mil then PBF is making 83%, and Marquez 17%

I'm a Mayweather fan and think that's bull****, Sr. just doing his usual trash talking which is fine. There's no way in hell Marquez would go the way Gatti did, that I assure you.

what does that have to do with anything? of course that's more than what he made against john, of course he'll make more than what he would have made against pac the first time. that's what happens when you win matches and further your career.

so if pac gets a 6 million purse against pbf, would you also say at least it's more than what he made against morales in their second fight?

the question is "is the 3mil jmm is getting fair in relation to the 15mil pbf is getting?"

I've heard nothing but hearsay in relation to how much Marquez is making, but I find it hard to believe that he is not going to get a cut of the PPV, and whatever he ends up getting, he signed the contract and I'm sure he's not complaining

The fact that you dont know the history involved between Arum and Nacho just shows your lack of knowleadge on the most fundamental issues regarding anything on this board......it simply shows you're not even qualifed to give an opinion especially when it relates to JMM......

Newsflash.....when you score a fight, you score each round individually and add up the points for each of the rounds to determine a winner......

......the same, when you make an assesment on an individual or a situation, you just dont single out one happening.....the thing to do is to consider all the variables and then make an informed and educated opinion......

    oh...ohh....I forgot, excuse me, you're a *******!

I've shot down every ******* claim for years now......

If you're a builder and the cost to put up a building is 1 million dollars, you dont put in an offer to put up that building for 500K because your closest competitor offered to do it for an insane 400K.

......bottom line is that both Marquez and Pacquiao deserved significant payhikes in their pay scale after fight one.....
......this issue has been driven in many times by many in this forum, but the ******* does'nt have the necessary chip in his brain to have it register.:nut

......which would put the necessary chip on JMM's shoulder he's going to need to beat Mayweather.

......remember after the Diaz fight when JMM embarrased Pacquiao by stating, "Pacquiao does'nt want to fight me, so I want to fight the best fighter P4P which is Floyd Mayweather."
This after Jim Lampley had declared Marquez' knockout of Diaz every as sensational as any KO in Pac's resume.

......remember how people on this forum dismissed it as just bull**** talk to get under Pac's skin, that JMM would never have the balls to position himself to fight Mayweather......

.....its looking every second that Marquez' intention all along was to do exactly what came out of his mouth after he Ko'd Juan Diaz.....
.....and its looking very much that Mayweather is not a cashout fight for Marquez, he has every intention of coming out victorious....every one of his actions since the Juan Diaz fight has indicated that!:deal

what i remember is how when JMM said that, everyone said that anyways it was Pacquiao who was the best fighter p4p, not Floyd
