I doubt it. The only thing that is likely to be next for the great Juan Manuel Marquez is a premature retirement.

Where the hell did you hear that??????

I personally heard it from JMM's mouth on a telemundo interview Sunday night.......Marquez was asked about a Pacquiao fight and he straight out said that the only thing in his mind was beating the best P4P fighter in the world Floyd Mayweather.

"A Pacquiao fight if I'm sucessful can come later, but right now I have a very difficult task against Mayweather, and my thoughts are just on him.....I'm going to put my body, mind and soul through the rigors in my preparation to beat him."

Somebody forgot to tell JMM that he's just supposed to be a stepping stone for a future Mayweather-Pacquiao fight to take place..........

:lol:In all honesty, JMM knows that the media is salivating at the thought of Pacquiao-Mayweather coming to fruition.
That can only fuel him, which is bad news for Mayweather.

The disrespect of JMM may really turn up roses for him.....this is a really a fighter who believes that he's never been beaten in the ring.....so really in his mind, he does'nt know what losing is.
The mind is an incredible thing......if you believe you can do it, a fighter will go to hell and back to get it accomplished.

I'm a realist, so I'm not going to predict a Marquez win, but watch out......I am telling you all right now that if Mayweather does'nt put his mind body and soul to the task against JMM, and does'nt train for this fight like he's facing an elite in his prime.....he is going to know what its like to lose come July 18th!

Blah, blah, blah. JMM has no real physical advantages over Mayweather. He's getting beaten up. this fight is a mismatch.

He can't be too sure . . . as far as he is concern Pac is next.

As far as . . . Pac is concern . . . PBF is next.

If JMM beats PBF . . . then him against Pac could happen immediately. If he loses . . . then end of his hope for it to happen next.

Either way i can't wait to see this little pound for pound tournament be it mayweather/ pac or marquez/ pac 3...and although i think mayweather, he better not be taking marquez lightly... mother****er knows how to box and fight with capitals b and f, respectively

Floyd is too much for Marquez. Dream on.
If Marquez loses by a KO, Pac-JMM is off.

Floyd is too much for pac, bad style match up for pac. Marquez and floyd will be more of a chess match as any mistake floyd makes Marquez will capitalize on. :good

im really looking forward to this fight. jmm is a warrior, and it would be intriguing to see him deal with floyd's style.

JMM is class, but at 35 im not sure if he has what it takes to go up anymore, especially against PBF

He will always be a problem for PAC though.

Dull chess match with PBF getting the decison or it can turn? no one can tell how PBF' body and skills will respond to the inactivity. Its the only chance I give Marquez. He has the skills to make it 12 rds and close. But I imagine PBF has the greater physical skills.
Marquez is not as dynamic as PAC

I mean he lost to John and barely scraped by a shot Cepillo and he is supposed to take Mayweather at 147 I think its a tad too large. Im going for Marquez and hope he wins regardless
