Well its just two guys pushing buttons and they cant be completly objective unless its two fighters no one has ever seen , also a paulie malinagi over hand right will go down as a power-punch where as a wlad jab well a jab , you tell me p4p ofcourse which of those shots is more damaging ? its ok i suppose i just dont like people using it to rationalise scoring a round, if your thought fighter A won the round then lampley starts spouting numbers that suggest otherwise that will sway opinion and thats just wrong
I'm not advocating 'robots'. :huh I'm just making the point that it can't be used as a reliable method of calling a fight either way, as HBO use it. Like the TS said, they talk about it like it's infallible. It's just two guys who can make mistakes. Are they even ex-boxers? I doubt it.
Horse****. The system is flawed due largely to the fact that it's two guys sat watching the action from one direction and clicking like trigger happy call of duty players. As soon the fighters turn or the action moves to a different area of the four sided ring they simply can't see the punches and if they can't see them how the hell can they record them? Accurate my ass.
Just a few of those clear shots of Marquez but not enough to make him win. Boxing is fought 12 rounds, my friend, and apparently Pac is busier.
a clear and decisive round for jmm, infact the most clear and decisive in the whole fight imo yet compu-box shows him only lading 8 of 18 yet shows pac landed 5 of 16, im sorry but jmm landed more than 8 surely and im sure pac landed more than 5 but in a clear and decisive round one way the compu-box has that **** very tight This content is protected Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I'd take compubox over emotional opinion with is loaded with over expectation. At least compubox is quantifyable.
Compubox is not useful at all, except in the thrown punches category. Mayweather/Castillo 1 killed all faith I had in that system of scoring punches.
aggression or effective aggression, two very differant things. For pacs aggression to have been really effective he would have had to cut the ring off against the man "backing up the whole fight", something i dont feel he did or if he did it was very seldom Manny got caught with more effective punches all fight so ive no idea what your getting at with that point
