    I don't understand the whole catchweight thing they're pretty much the same size so why don't they fight at 147 so they have less pressure of making weight if they want to come in at 142 they could still do it. Catchweights do sometimes make sence but not in this case

    It will be held in Mexico so it MUST be the WBC 147 title. WBC will strip Floyd Mayweather of the 147 title. :lol:

    I think they choose a catchweight of 142-143 lbs. because I think 142/143 is the best fighting weight of these 2 boxers, do you agree?

    After Pac weighed in at the full 147lb last time, and JMM weighing heavier than Pac when they last met in the ring, I think the catchweight should be dropped to erase any doubt in the hearts of every single fan that it has anything to do with draining Pac or JMM.

    Why are you criticizing Pac in this? It will be a 147 title on the line. Would you rather have Pacquiao insists on 147 no catchweight?

    Pacquiao doesn't come in any higher than 150lbs on fight night, which is exactly what Marquez weight in their 3rd fight. No need for a catchweight IMO.

    142 to 143 is the best fighting weight for both PAC and JMM.
