Are you stupid? Mate everything in life is business, thats what you gotta understand that this is the 21st century not back in the days like Ali were boxing was for pride, this happens in every sport football, rugby etc etc. Sports = Entertainment = Views = $$ but this fight was a close win for pac, this hype is gonna end for 3 days everyone hates Boxing then they come back saying "god i miss the old left hooks"

I didn't watch the fight, so I can't say if it is a robbery or simply a close fight. But the things I do hate about Boxing is the corrupt judges and the cherry picking of fights (good fighters ducking good fighters) and all those different ABC belts. I have lost a lot of passion for boxing because of these things. I think MMA has more credibility. Their fights usually ends in clear knockouts or submission. It's must harder to have a close fight or robberies in MMA.

Fights like this just make me hate boxing inside and over the years of watching boxing the amount of robberies seen and the fact that nobody gives a **** and looks the other way is just disgusting.

Boxing will die out if bull**** like this carries on, but the judges/commentators are so biased they will bull**** there way out of why they gave that bull**** decision and we will all fall for it.

Uh these stats do lie... Compubox is two guys pressing buttons, not a slow motion video analysis.
That's like saying every amateur/olympic boxing decision is an objective decision that can't be disputed.
Pacman was punching air, it's clear that he lost when you use the ten point must system. A fight is scored round by round. If Pacquiao landed all those punches in one round without scoring a knockdown then does he still win the fight on 'stats' in your eyes even though he only threw punches in one round?
In this fight Pacquiao was good in some rounds and threw a lot of punches. In other rounds he did sweet F all apart from get battered and look lost. Marquez had more clear rounds, scoring this fight round by round any rational boxing fan is going to have Marquez up. It was a close fight but a clear win, a close fight can still be a robbery.
Think about it a bit more buddy.

To all the ******ed *******s imagine if you were fighting and you won the fight but they gave it to other guy, how would you feel? win over pac in this time would be historic but corruption/greed stopped it.

Manny has never looked great vs Marquez, and this time fight proved that Marquez' speed was not why.

So many though, INCLUDING myself that Manny had gotten so much better, and Marquez had gotten worse.

While this is true, Marquez has always been able to adapt his style to fight against most anyone and efectively.

While I had Manny winning by 2 points, and I based that off effective aggressiveness and punches landed, it was evident the average fan believed that a close fight was Marquez to be had.

Seems that the real bias is in favor of JMM here since in their eyes, Manny could only have won by complete dominance with multiple KDs and or a KO.:rofl

Boxing has been corrupt for a hundred years.

It's much more a show than a sport. Promoters are running a business, and they are feeding cogs to the machine to keep it chugging on as a highly profitable business.

The best singers in the world are not the best paid. The best actors might never make 20 million for a movie. It's not about being the best, it's about asses in seats and PPV buys.

Fans can change boxing the second they refuse to buy into the hype and demand the best fights for their dollars.

Marquez doped. Either lose it or be stripped of it via no-contest!

Sure it is, but what happened in the last round doesn't affect the scoring of this round. Each round is it's own fight with a decision, whoever won more fights out of the 12 fights wins, even if the overall loser absolutely dominated in 4 of the fights and landed far more punches. You can have the loser who won 4 fights with 2 million punches landed in total and the winner who won 8 fights landing 220 punches in total. Overall compubox stats mean ****, even if they were accurate.
Amateur boxing is a different story, you can tally up enough points in the first round to not have to do anything else in the other rounds.
I'm trying to make this simple for you to understand, you seem a bit simple.

    Its a disgrace.

Marquez clearly won in my eyes. You could see in pacs eyes, and his corners eyes that he thought he had lost.

Again another piece of my love goes for boxing. Its a joke.

I just hope Floyd mans up and destroys pac, however I don't see roach letting him take the fight.

I'm a Pacquiao fan but at the end of 12 rounds I had JMM winning comfortably.
I will re-watch it but I feel it was a pretty clear victory for Marquez.

    Your in denial bruv.
I know it's difficult in the face of irrational *****s but face it.

Pacquiao lost that fight. Just look at his reaction after the final bell. Look at all boxing forums and polls. Look at other sports sites. Pac is the most loved boxer in the world, yet everywhere you turn ppl are screaming robbery.
