Manny was getting hit too much...JMM WAS CONTROLLING THE FIGHT AND MAKING MANNY MISS LIKE NO OTHER.

HAD THIS PACQUIAO, OR ANY MANNY PACQUIAO FROM THE CLOTTEY, MARGARITO, OR MOSLEY FIGHT FOUGHT FLOYD-HE'D BEEN SLEPT.

Heck, did they even show final compubox numbers? I didn't see any.
I figured they decided not to post them, because Manny's connect percentage was about 10% & it would have made the fix even more obvious.

Watched it on Primetime. They all thought (including Amir Khan) that Marquez won the fight. It's obvious the HBO telecast painted a different picture of the fight. It's funny how that works. :think

Ironically, in the post fight, Arum talked about wanting to do a 4th fight in MAY (bye Floyd fight?) to settle things once and for all (that was supposed to happen this time), and because, it would be such a big event (bigger than a Mayweather event?). :think The fight would go the same way. Marquez (really) won this-and barring a KO by Manny-would (really) win again.

Simple movement and precise countering made Manny's aggression ineffective for much of the fight. He could not get off the way he wanted. He was outboxed by Marquez and Marquez was never really hurt.

The entire boxing world took a dump on Pacquiao and Arum. Even Pacquiao's sparring partners thought he loss the fight.

PAC beat MARQUEZ in his own game without a knockdown. How can MARQUEZ win if his only backpedalling and waiting to counter? You're just HATERS...NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT THAT. Deal with it or kill yourselves with HATRED! :hat

Third thing I want to point out that people forget is Manny was the defending champion which means the challenger has to do more and win the rounds very convincingly to win the fight.

Please stop perpetuating this myth. Whoever wins more rounds (whether in a title or mon- title fight) is the winner. End of.

the did, it showed Pac throwing more, landing more and at roughly the same percentage as Marquez... ****ing bull**** man. Lamps would call an exchange and freak out for pac, then they would show a slow mo shot of it and you would see pac missing alot while JMM would throw some short counter inside that would find the mark.
