2nd best p4p fighter in the world at his age and his career is nothing short of amazing.
Robberies be damned hes only 2nd behind Mayweather atm and infinitely more exciting and more heart.

Also the best combination puncher i had the pleasure of watching in my lifetime.

    Marquez HOF

Never managed to watch many of his fights that will change this year though...

The only guy who has truly got Pacquiao's number

Been watching JMM since he was headlining bouts on regular TV(channel 9 in USA). Will definitively miss him.

Definitely in my top 5 favorite fighters. Amazing technical skill, a very high ring IQ, and the heart of a warrior. Always willing to fight the best. While Pac and May were going back and forth outside the ring, Marquez squared off with both. No stadium and no revenue split issues with him. You would NEVER see those other two clowns move up 2 weight divisions to fight the other.

I will be sad the day he retires, but at the same time grateful for what he's given to boxing. Hopefully his last couple of fights are in Vegas. Bet your ass ill be there.

As much as that's true. He's not in the same position as them. Not even close, which is why he chose to fight them without any demands. Maybe fight Chris John, who gave him a pretty good fight if he's such a warrior? Ah, but that's not nearly as much money. Exactly. There's more to it than that.

Marquez the best all around fighter and counter puncher to ever grace the great Nation of boxing that is Mexico and proved himself against consistent top opposition in his career and to this day has always been a top P4p fighter.... he has never been beaten decisively to only one and that is one of the best of this generation who Marquez had to move up 2 divisions up but he made up for it by again moving up and beating #2 unofficial to become the unofficial WW champ..... and has been the recipent of boxing corruption that is bussiness.. I wish him the best and hope he ends this year with a bigger bang then last years unnoficial dethroning of one of the best fighters of this generation. In a weight and age that benefited his rival but he showed how much greater he is the his Nemesis.
