I also said that DLH would outweigh Pac by at least 12 pounds climbing into that ring, and when that was'nt the case, my analyzation of the fight changed totally.

If you'd ask the forum that Pac would outweight DLH stepping up to the ring, 80%+ imo would have picked Pac.

The only thing against JMM is time, as he's the older fighter.

I've said all along, that as long as JMM does'nt show significant signs of decline......and he has'nt to date......I'd pick him everytime against Pac.
Pac's only real chance against a JMM still capable of fighting at a high level is to knock him out......Pac only has a punchers chance against JMM.

When the moment comes in a JMM fight that I think JMM is showing significant slippage, believe me, I will let this forum know beforehand of this matter when its leading to a Pac matchup.......because there's no question about it, JMM has to be on his game against Manny Pacquiao, because everyone of those matchups is a taxing one physically.

 

I'm inclined to agree with you.......

......imo JMM would need to win 9 and maybe 10 clear rounds to have the fight tilt in his favor.....

.....which is probably a good reason for a third matchup not to take place.

They're not excuses when it comes to me......because my post history is there for all to see.
I said beforehand that my picking DLH was based on his overwhelming size and weight.....
.....so when you have the HBO guys telling us that Pac is going to outweight DLH stepping into the ring, the rationale for which you were picking DLH to win goes out the window.

Let me just say however that Pac deserves great credit for thumping DLH regardless.......but we as boxing fans also have the right to voice our opinions and question DLH's rationale for coming in as light as he did, when to almost everyone with a brain, it would have been a given that DLH would be sharing that ring with Pac weighing close to the middleweight limit.

I think Pac will ko JMM, but of course yet again he won't get any credit. They'll say Pac waited until JMM finally got old(coz u know, Pac got that superhero power...its the boxing 6th sense---the sensing of shotness) Some MAB fan who's still bitter when a raw 122lb one-dimensional Pac put a muggin on his hero 5 years back would then say, "Psssh....Im not impressed, why did he wait till he's completely shot? Why didn't he fight him 2months ago when he was still prime?"

....sometimes I just feel bad for Pac, sometimes he just never gets any credit.

I feel bad for YOU. I never had to make excuses for the fighters I like, because they cleaned out divisions and fought everybody. They didn't cherrypick semi-retired fighters their whole career. They cleaned out the old guys, then they cleaned out the young guys, then they fought until they couldn't fight anymore.

Must suck, your hero being so scared to fight anyone still on top of his game and you having to constantly make excuses for it.
