During the Pacquiao/Marquez press conference Juan Manuel Marquez said that Floyd Mayweather "Don't like to fight", "the weight was the difference", and that with Manny it would be "Two warriors in the ring" among other things.. Not sure what Marquez is talking about because I saw Mayweather indeed FIGHT, give Marquez a beating and pretty much make him look amateurish for 12 rounds... Here's the link

    mayweather likes to outbox people.....

if that means not fighting then thats what he does.....

its the way he is best at winning fights.

LOL... In other words Mayweather will not get in there at close quarters and exchange shots, like Pac does. But why does Floyd need to, when he has all that defensive skill? Marquez is just trying to sell the fight by trying to convince the public he has a better chance than what people are giving him.

In other words he is a counter puncher, pretty much the same as Marquez accept way more talented defensively and way more athletically gifted. Doesn't mean he doesn't like to fight, Marquez needs to stop drinking urine.. it's confusing him.

    Floyd "boxes" more ..Pac "fights"..

FLOYD HAS THE LUXURY OF BEING GOOD ENOUGHT TO "JUST BOX" ..HE DOESN'T HAVE TO CHANCE IT AS MUCH.

Floyd usually likes to box, and not commit to exchanges. This is pretty clear. Both of them being counter-punchers does not mean they are both primarily defensive fighters in style. I think JMM learned his lesson gaining weight the wrong way the first time.

thoughts are he beat up on a guy who fought 95% of his fights at featherweight .....while floyd was the welterweight champion he fought a guy wth 0 fights at 147, 0 fights at 140 , 2 at 135, 3 at 130.

floyd would get his ass kicked if he fought sergio martinez, 2 divisions up...but makes a featherweight look "amateurish" to you... impressive to beat up on little guys who are close to 40 years old

    *yawn*

But no mention of the fact that Floyd started out at 130 pounds.

Henry Armstrong would laugh in JMMs face.

Marquez has proven his mettle in many fights and that is why I am a fan. That said he should have refunded most of his purse after refusing to fight Mayweather. His performance was unprofessional in that he never even tried to win. He showed up and cashed a check without throwing any meaningful punches. When it comes to Mayweather Marquez is the the one who don't like to fight. When Pac takes the Mayweather test at least he will leave on his back trying to win.

Well that much is apparent... Floyd likes his "pretty" face too much. He's a defensive boxer. If he wanted to expand his base he'd put his heart into it and be more on the offense. Thereby not leaving important fights up to the judges... Just an observation:smoke
