Lol I just sit back and watch most of the times in this forum...but c'mon; Marquez is a great fighter but he's trying to sell his Pac fight..people who complain that the weight difference is what helped Floyd win are just silly..did he muscle Marquez; Bully him around the ring? No...And Floyd was coming off almost 2 years of not fighting!!!

considering that floyd was the much bigger man that night and both are counter-punchers, you can see that it was marquez, the smaller man, who was coming forward that night while floyd was contented to just box the little man.

i cant think of anyone who is excited to see pac vs marquez 3...now we have to wait 2 more months of promoting this **** fight...maybe jimmy kimmel appearances, other talk shows.... to promote a fight against a 38 year old career featherweight, that has never fought at 140 and has 1 fight at 147 where he was shut out for 12 rounds..... how are they promoting this again??

what does this bull**** stat means? floyd was the visibly larger man on fight night. he is the naturally bigger guy and even cheated marquez on the scales. he fought the waiting game when both of them are counterpunchers.

Floyd chooses when he wants to fight and when he's going to box. He usually boxes...but when he's got the mindset to box defensively to avoid all risk....he's more than capable of carving out a one sided boxing match at a pace he's controlling. JMM & Shane for different reasons could not control any aspect of their matches with Floyd. If you can't control pace against Floyd....you best be controlling where the majority of the fight takes place....with Floyd It's better if you mix it up because he's very solid on the inside and from the outside he's nearly unbeatable.

He doesn't need to in this case because Marquez was significantly smaller. No question about it.

You sound extremely confident in the outcome between two evenly matched elite level boxers. And more important.......as much as we want Floyd to just go ahead and stick to his word.... We are left we yet again contradictions from Floyd in more recent statements. Floyd knows Pac is a huge risk to his most important element to his legacy.. which is having the ability to say....."41 have tried, 41 have failed"....it won't sound as cool saying "42 have tried and ONLY 1 was successful":rofl... Floyd is a big gambler in the casinos but he plays very reserved when it comes to Pac.

He is promoting his fight.. If said the exact opposite after fighting Floyd.. So of course he is going to say, this fight would be different or no one would give him much of a chance with the worlds p4p fighter if he had little chance against the second p4p fighter.

I think the whole purpose of fighting Marquez for Mayweather was to see who was the smarter boxer. Marquez got his #2 pfp rank because he was considered the smartest boxer in the world. That fight was more so for technical sweat science boxing heads then most others. Display of foot work, angles, counter punching, traps.

Also why isn't Mayweather considered blown up when he fought Hoya at JMW?

how does these measurement prove floyd is the bigger man .. according to whats on paper here, is that floyd has the longer reach .. Marquez is bigger in the chest then floyd.. these number would mean very little to a fighter of Marquez caliber. truth be told floyd is just a better counter puncher and fight tactician, the Marquez is and I consider Marquez as one of the best in boxing right now.

Go ahead and explain how its stupid genius. Explain why Juan MAnuel Marquez is for some reason an exception to what boxings history has proven over and over again.

Both guys showed up as welterweights in the ring shitheads.

Marquez lost because of the styles, the fight wasn't a bit competitive and it wasn't because of the size UNLESS Marquez had it in his head and was scared in the ring and that doesn't sound like Marquez to me.

    you DUMB ****
ive already explained it to you...just because they WEIGH THE SAME on fight night....doesnt make marquez a ****ing welterweight stupid :patsch
he fought at the welterweight limit...for the first time and fought the welterweight champion....the guy had never fought at junior welterweight
only 2 TIMES at lightweight...... what the **** dont you get about that?
floyd could not train as hard as he does and weigh 160....would that make him a ****ing legit middleweight? your really pathetic and scary how ignorant you are and how much you DONT know...now go **** off dummy
    :hi:
