Marquez should have forced Floyd to drop the weight?

When Juan Manuel Marquez fought Mayweather the fight was contracted at 144lbs. Mayweather came in at 146lb causing him to pay Marquez $600,000 dollars for the 2 pounds. I believe Marquez should have forced Floyd to drop the 2lbs or no fight. Do you think he would have a chance if Floyd was forced to drop the extra weight?

Yeah the 2 pounds is why Marquez lost every round. If he didn't then Marquez would have actually hit Floyd flush more than once.

When Floyd fought Cotto he said he like to fight fighters at the weight their comfortable at. When he fought Canelo it was at 152lb, and Canelo said he was forced to fight him at that weight.

At least he didnt fight Canelo at 147, like Pac did against an ancient Oscar who had not fought at that weight for 7 years.

Fight should have been at 142 max. Another con job by FMJ.

The fight should have been at 144lb period. You should fight at the weight you sign the contract at, if you don't like don't agree to fight at that particular weight. Pacquiao has never come in overweight if you don't want to fight him at the weight he wants don't sign the contract.

He didn't land a punch in 12 rounds, what difference would it have made. Mayweather just didn't want to give up his big macs.

:finger5 get over it. If you really think the 2 pounds mattered you dont know a lick about boxing, it happened half a decade ago.

Mayweather phoned DLH a day or two before the weighin and told him he was not going to make the agreed upon weight.

Primadonna's pretty much do what they want so Marquez pretty much had two choices at that point.

    1. Walk away from the fight.

    or

    2. Take the the extra money and fight.

Marquez really did'nt have much of a choice but to step into the ring regardless of the circumstance.
You dont train as hard as Marquez does and just walk away from a fight.

Marquez added weight in a terrible way. His fault. Cheap of Floyd to not drop to a weight he knew he could make. Based on styles, JMM had such a low chance of winning...even if he was buff and pimpley. Still an excellent win by Floyd.

Source? I'm not a FMJ fan at all, but you're a confirmed Marquez pee-pee drinker.

I'm a Marquez fan, but I dont hang on his nuts like you Pac****s do Pacquiao!

I state my opinion and my opinion when Marquez signed to fight Mayweather was that he was to small, Mayweather had every concievable physical advantage and that Marquez would not have much of a chance against him.
If I was like you Pac****s I would have said, "Marquez by KO!"

I dont make **** up, and my record here at ESB speaks for itself.

You want to know more about Mayweathers shenanigans in the leadup to not making weight vs Marquez?
    Google it *******!!!!
