You need to learn some boxing history. If you knew anything he didnt even fight John till a year after that and fought a couple of other guys for a purse total of about 350K.

Ok, so if he came in at 145 on fight night against Katsidis, then it will actually benefit Marquez to fight Pac at 147 since he wont have to cut any weight to make weight. Problem solved! :good

Pac is probably the smallest WW in the division anyways. It'll be as if they took the fight at 140.

He thinks he won against Chris john. :huh

He faced Pacquiao twice already whom he also thinks he beat twice, :rofl

Why not rematch Chris John?

Answer: It's all about the retirement money

    He's still one dimensional.

He just gets matched against fellow one dimensional fighters now.

Marquez owned Pacquiao. Won at least 18-19 rounds

I'm sure Chris John would want to face him, if he thought he got a controversial decision.

Manny refused the 3rd fight immediately, as he would have lost. Everyone knows it

    Man, the second fight

    Manny was 146

    Marquez was 141

Manny was only 148 versus Margarito!? 2 pounds heavier.

Only reason Manny struggled with marquez is plain clash of styles.

2 more pounds won't help him

Everyone knows it? He would be a small fighter as of now if he met Marquez the third time around and not moved up in weight.

See, you haters try to bring Manny down and even demand him to fight the likes of Joan Guzman or Humberto Sotto and Marquez.

Instead Manny went up, faced Oscar, Cotto, Hatton, Margarito and became a star which he now is.

He has bigger names to fry. One is yet to SURFACE.

    Exactly.
Refused 7 million for the 3rd fight to fight the great David Diaz for 3 million.

Now if that isnt a duck i dont know what is.

Marquez is now well past it. He has no chance against Manny in 2011.

Manny should have the advantages, but I don't think he will risk a fight with JMM even if Manny has improved greatly. Katsidis is no ATG, but he is world class and a huge puncher. The fight pretty much happened as I expected, but JMM still looked dangerous in there and his timing looked sharper than his last fight with Diaz. I will say this, JMM is worlds above Margarito and would pose a greater challenge to Pacman and he knows it. JMM is a sucker for the left just like Pacman is for counters.
