Marquez Taunts Pacquiao With Shirt.

    MGM Grand, Las Vegas - At the Juan Manuel Marquez-Michael Katsidis post-fight press conference Juan Manuel Marquez unveiled a new custom t-shirt that read "I beat Manny Pacquiao twice." Marquez doesn't see why Pacquiao can't meet him at a catch-weight of 142 or 144. A member of the media told Marquez that Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach told BoxScene earlier this week that Manny will not be fighting at any catch-weights and that any fight would have to be at 147 pounds.

    team pacquiao is afraid of Marquez, they claim to be too small and fight weight drained opponents, but comfortably make 144 and demand a small man like Marquez come up to 147? when you put it that way the fight sounds like another mismatch

    if team pacquiao is so scared and cant fight a little man like Marquez at a catchweight 142 or 143 then i cant imagine how on earth they are going to beat Mayweather jr at 147, pacquiao will have absolutely no advantage going into that fight and clearly team pacquiao is too afraid to fight any opponent without a clear advantage over their opponent

    Pac team are relying on the notion that mayweather will only throw pot shots each round and pac could outwork him. They know with Marquez, he will throw just as many as he receives. This is why they don't want the fight.
