Nobody puts combinations together like this guy. He's always going to the body and head and throwing 4-5 punch combinations. Is there any punch this guy doesn't use in his arsenal? With 90% of the fighters out there trained to throw nothing but the boring one two this guy is a treat to watch.,

Barrera throws combinations just as good.

Yeah Barrera used to throw some pretty good combos. It must be the way most Mexican fighters are trained. You just don't see many American or European fighters fight that way. You typically see the boring Emmanuel Stewart mold of jab, clinch, right hand.

Every single conceivable punch you can imagine, he throws all of it. That's why he's always been labeled as that dude who throws EVERY punch in the book.

Barrera is one of my favorite but I agree Marquez is the best at the moment.

Marquez and Barrera in his prime are equal with their combination punching. Marquez is so presice when he lands his punches. Marquez has some good options on his next match. I wonder who will it be.

I think it depends on what you look for. Because there are certainly many good combination punchers in boxing today. Mosely and Dawson are two that come to mind and many boxers in the lower wieght divisions can string together some fantastic combos. But yeah interms on the technical effectiveness this guy brings when he puts them together its certainly unmatched. I honestly don't think anyone out there can string together so many punches with "purpose" and "meaning" if you guys know what I mean. Just a beauty to watch.

I would disagree. Marquez's combinations are probably the more imprssive, but obvious that left hook of barrera's is the sunday punch of them all.
