By Jose Santana Jr. Saturdays HBO-televised triple-header offers three fighters at the top of their respective divisions. Each of them faces an opponent, however, who many aficionados are not thrilled to see. He last fought in July in a rematch against Diaz, in what was also the first defense of his titles. In between, he lost a wide decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a foray at welterweight for one fight, or pay-day. The 37-year-old Mexico City, Mex., native will look to continue his 135-pound control in this bout. Katsidis, who goes by the nickname The Great, only has two losses to his record. Those losses, however, have come to the two best opponents he has faced. He is the current holder of the interim WBO title which he once held before his first-career loss to Joel Casamayor. In this era of confusing and multiple titles, even within the same division of the same organization, Katsidis, 30, still has yet to hold a full world title. For the Australian-born Katsidis this is the biggest fight of his career and his chance to become the lightweight world champion. read more at http://www.undisputedfightmag.com/2...t-katsidis-trying-to-prove-he-is-‘the-great’/
