Better not underestimate PAC and prepare hard for this fight. PAC is not same fighter since their first fight 2004, 4 years of added experience and skills for PAC this will TKO/KO JMM this march... NO EXCUSES!
i dont think hes underestimating him at all i mean hes been trainning since dec and been trainning like a mad man.
I've heard JMM mention before that he does'nt study a whole lot of fight video like other fighters do.....he lets his trainer do that. Nacho Beristein studies the video and makes the suggestions as to fight strategy. I'm sure that if Nacho sees anything that they can exploit in those fight videos, he'll bring them to the attention of JMM! Believe me, both JMM and Nacho know of the changes in style that pac has made, they wont be of any suprise to Marquez' team. Underestimating Pac? I dont think so. JMM started there camp early to make sure that all the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed! They're absolutely not underestimating Manny Pacquiao!
How could he underestimate the fighter who knocked him down 3 times? It's an article from the Philippines so what do you expect. The author puts that in that underestimation context. It's not Marquez' but his trainer's job to watch the videos and prepare his guy with the right sparring partners. That's it. You can show Jermain Taylor some great fights of former Manny Steward fighters in camp and Kelly Pavlik still gonna knock him out. Marquez is a naturally talented great counter-puncher. He was down 3 times in the first fight and guess what he did in the rest of the fight? Quickly started to read the PacMan and outboxed him to the final bell. Why should he watch videos? He's got better job to do, prepare himself for a boxing match.
