According to the scene Team Marquez are looking at a european opponent.

    Wonder who it could be?

Any chance of it being Murray - i know Rios just beat the snot out of him but it's still an entertaining fight. Could be good to see where Juan is at these days when it comes to the lightweight division.

Ricky Burns or Kevin Mitchell would be better fight for Marquez than Murrey. If he is going to fight a european opponent.

Burns just fought didn't he? I was thinking the same thing but unlikely that he will be ready in time for April

There aren't many good European fighters in and around lightweight tbh, hopefully he fights that Argentinian.

Yeah Burns just thought, but I still think Mitchell is a better opponent for Marquez than Murray. Murray is coming of 2 stoppage loses and should probably take an easier fight before stepping up again.

I hope he doesnt fight cuenca but ESPN says so

it seems like a trap fight a 42-0 unknown with no punch, its like Chris John all over again, you think JMM woulda learned his lesson

there is not upside on this fight he should face Rios or Broner or Petersen or someone along those lines

Murray would be ok for a tune up against Rios.

I thought Marquez vacated his LW title to move up to LWW. Has he now decided to stay at LW?

Cuevas has one of the most interesting boxing records I've seen, I was curious to see how he actually fights. It must suck to be the only guy that he managed to knock out.

No he's not staying at LW. Why would he when he wants another shot at Pac.

People here are only guessing its Murray. If he is looking European at LWW. Then it has to be Mcloskey or Ruslan provodnikov.
